My interpretation is that his "slim shady persona" has cut off the current day Marshall's arm so now it's only Slim Shady writing and squad'd up with the boys. Shady is now in charge again. The death of slim shady is not literal, it's the ultimate Em word-concept flip, he's not killing off that part of himself, he's allowing both personas to blend to who he is now. F'n genius artistry. I've been leaving this comment on a lot of reaction channels. If you know them movie Halloween really well I'm sure at the end when Loomis shoots Michael and he falls off the balcony. When Loomis looks the first time he's there but when he looks the second time Michael's gone.
