People complain about the production on this song, but it enhances the point he wanted to get across. It's not meant to be bumped, it's meant to be observed. In the first half of the song Em conveys the behavior of rebellious white cops through Rock music, delivering it in an uncomfortable way as a reminder of this uncomfortable conversation. Then in the second half Em uses a "boom bap" Hip-Hop beat to convey the perspective of the black people who are rebellious due to the unfair circumstances they were born into. Em doesn't have to spark this conversation, but he cares. That's why I will always admire him. REVIVAL deserves JUSTICE.... and so does GEORGE FLOYD. RIP.

I am not much of an Eminem "fan" (I appreciate that he's a great lyricist and rapper, but I don't really consider myself a fan of anyone regardless of genre), so there's a good chance that my two questions are stupid, but having watched quite a few reaction videos to Untouchable so far, I am left with two questions that I haven't seen answered. The music to it is apparently quite different than his usual style, according to some of the reaction videos, and I feel like the style might be a lot closer to what I imagine rap rock (is that what it's called?) sounds like, which makes me think this is a conscious choice - it's a song that needs to be heard by "rednecks" (the stereotype that I imagine are the primary audience of rap rock). Does this make sense to anyone else? The lyrics are also extremely easy to understand; there doesn't seem to be many, if any, double entendres or hidden meanings, which again is something I imagine is a quality of rap rock because of the audience. Does this make sense to anyone else? I know that I'm stereotyping like wild in these speculations, but that is why I'm asking - I like to quash the stereotypes that I have, so please feel free to correct me on them.

@@nocturnalgamer8285 Believe it or not; but one of the many themes to; Music to be Murdered by is that it is supposed to be "Relapse 2" minus the accents. Think about it. 1. The amount of Murder subject matter? Eminem entering the mindset of a serial killer sound familiar? Haha 2. The striking resemblance between the opening and ending tracks? "3AM" and "Premonition"? "Underground" and "I Will"? 3. Production was a perfect mix between dark/moody instrumentals and classic Dr. Dre beats fused together just like the production on "Relapse." 4. Last and most importantly, ever since "Revival/Walk on Water"? and sober Eminem in general, he has a habit of making it up to us, when he feels like he let us down. So for the people that hated "Relapse", he made "Recovery." Right? Now he's realized all these years later that there were actually alot of fans looking forward to "Relapse 2" and he let them down. Sooo without directly saying it, "Music to be MURDERED By" is actually "Relapse 2." Enjoy, lol

From the history to current events, and I think the lyric video makes the words even more powerful too. He recently did a "skit" on Royce da 5'9's new album "The Allegory" and it's called "Perspective" in which he talks about racism and his view on it once again. "Untouchable" remains one of my favourite songs from him because he truly used his platform the way a white person should, the way a white person with a massive influence over white people should. Nowadays, people defend it, blame the victim, pretend like this the acceptable way for authority to act. Three decades, and we can't even get people to agree - "Hey, maybe we shouldn't kill motherfuckers on routine arrests or just being in the vicinity of a crime. Maybe being the authority figure comes with responsibility and accountability and expectations." Don't know how old you are, but those of us pushing 4-5 decades have been watching this same show play out. Again. And again. And again. It's hard not to be jaded about it. Cynical. This stuff should be simple. We know what works - there have been a lot of great, in-depth approaches by various police precincts and communities throughout the years that have worked, that have shown that we can heal these gaps between the communities and police and make real progress. We just don't do it. We don't hold people accountable. And everyone has to be accountable for democracy to work. Freedom ain't free.

I felt it was ahead of its time, and it came from the heart. He's living proof that the pin is stronger than the sword, he's the only man in the world DONALD TRUMP will not tweet back or respond to. EMINEM RAPS WHAT HE BELIEVES IN AND IS PASSIONATE ABOUT IT BUT WILLING TO WRITE ABOUT IT TO HELP THOSE IN THE WORLD WHOM MAY RELATE. RECOVERY HELPS SO MANY ADDICTS TILL THIS DAY. HE STANDS FOR WHAT AMERICA IS SUPPOSED TO BE, equality(made it in a prodometamly black industry) freedom (to believe in his own beliefs and follow his dreams. Though not a soldier hes faught for this country lyrically! EVEN DREW A LINE IN THE SAND, TAKING A STAND, STATING IF YOUR A FAN OF DONALD TRUMP HE DIDN'T WANT YA AS A FAN, THAT RIGHT THERE WAS SO POWERFUL, AN ARTIST WILLING TO GIVE AWAY HIS WHOLE FAN BASE AND THE MONEY THAT COMES WITH IT FOR WHAT HE BELIEVES IN. EMINEM IS SO INSPIRATIONAL AND IM PROUD TO BE A STAN, THAT MAN LIFTED ME UP WHEN I WAS DOWN WITH "GUTS OVER FEAR", RELATED WHEN I WAS "ROCK BOTTOM" HELPED ME KICK WITH "NOT AFRAID" AND WITH RELATIONSHIPS WITH "STRONGER THAN I WAS", TILL THIS VERY DAY WITH TRACKS LIKE " NO REGRETS". NOT ONLY IS HE MY INSPIRATION WITH EACH YEAR ADDED BEING SOBER AND IDOL FOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS WHICH HELPED ME ACHIEVE MY DREAMS BUT THE TRUE DEFINITION OF "GOAT". Yes Royce is biblical and philosophical and well rounded as artist and beat many demons like Em. BUT THERE IS NO OTHER ARTIST OUT THERE THAT HAS AS MUCH POWER AND INFLUENCE THROUGH RELATING TO OTHERS. IM SURE HES SAVED SO MANY LIVES, AND INFLUENCED AS WELL. HE MAY OF INFLUENCED HIS FAN BASE IN THE BEGINNING TO TRY DRUGS BUT HE HELPED GET US OFF, NOT THROUGH ONLY LYRICS BUT BY WALKING THE TALK, HES 12 YEARS SOBER NOW! Daughters are doing great, he not only raps for his fans, but cause its still fun for him. GLAD DRE TOOK THAT CHANCE, OR THE WHO RAP GAME WOULD BE DIFFERENT ALONG WITH LIVES AROUND THE WORLD

Not everyone. I’m ride or die Em. Have been since his first album dropped. I still remember all the side eyed looks I would get when I said he was one of the best. I don’t knock other people’s views or opinions but we all have voices, this is how he chooses to use his, and I thank him for it.

MsRefined1 I’m just saying, a majority of black people who listen to music right now are inclined to call Eminem corny because he’s white and old. But yet here he is using his platform to help bring attention to it and all of the sudden Eminem is cool

I think we all forget although he maybe white. Eminem grew up with this, his best friend was killed by this type of violence. But he’s been effected and seen this in real life. So a lot of what he said was from experience and his friends experience.

Our differences is supposed to be a support and not to compete who’s better or stronger. It’s our morals and ethics. Change starts within and that is a lesson for every parents and parents to be. Because they are the role model, the father, the mother, the teacher and guidance for the next generation.

This is one of the ones Trader Joe was picking on.. All they do is hear the hook and say it wack. This whole album was 🔥 I love it when Em gets in his bag and sends a message through songs. 1st time I've seen you let the whole song ride out and you were just in deep lyrical thought. Shit was dope! One thing I noticed is that you said "nothing I can do will actually make a difference" and that is the wrong way to think. You might have a small following compared to rappers/actors n shit, but you do have a following. And if you can reach even 1 person, you've made a difference!
