Hey buddy. I suggest you put in the battery from the tail instead of the head, much easier. Plus it's way better to mess up the threads on a tailcap instead of the head, much cheaper replacement. Awesome video though, this is the best color temp of the e21a imo.

Thank you I decided goin through the tail cap is better too after some consideration. I do LOVE the temperature tint ! Thank you for the help and suggestion!

@@TheFossilChannel After you mentioned your FW3T I realized why you tried from the head. Emisar doesn't have the Lumintop tail cap problems.

Have just gotten into looking at these kind of lights, your demo of doing some of the UI manipulation made a lot of sense out of some flow charts for me. Amazing to me that there is an open source flashlight o.s.

Really good looking high performance light. I have version one in aluminum. In copper it is perfect for heat dispersion and long term use. I do not find it expensive given what it does.

Great video 👍 I have the Ti version with XP-L HI V3 3A, 5000K and that sucker gets hot fast on turbo 🔥. Definitely don't need turbo om that thing. I just got the 3500k E21A Grey aluminum version today and it's definitely a better setup for a DD. That's my first light with those LED's and I'm really diggin' it 👍

Btw, you don't need a 30Q for the nichia E21A. The Samsung 35E provides enough for the E21A. Also that looks sweet! I'd love one but I don't think I could justify the price (for the copper). You can now flex on other people lol. Nice review as well.

Thanks! I took your advice and went with the Emisar Brand. Oddly enough I use most of my lights in kits. These copper ones are being used now to reduce transmission of germs. I will have to hold off buying lights for now.

I just ordered a D4V2TI blue swirl with a cyan button and a 6500k sst20. I've got a blue tritium on the way for the tailcap. This is going to be so sick. It's a shame i can't really find anywhere selling regular glow tubes in any color but yellow. And no ice blue tritiums ANYWHERE.

Do you know why the d4vs switch lights up when I turn the flashlight power up past like halfway?

my guess is that the switch light needs a certain threshold of voltage to activate the higher brightness mode on the switch light.
