As always a very good and precise video. I personally would be very interested in videos about snow/sand/mpm simulations in the next videos :)

I hope that in the upcoming lessons there will be a focus on sand and clay and the interaction of the elements with it

Super helpful, is there a way to turn the glue on after a certain point? I have objects coming out of a small area and they are sticking from the start. I only want them to glue once they hit the ground.

Is there a way to have velocity push the ball up before coming down? I am trying to shoot paper up and then vellum react to a table below. This gets me close.

Great tutorial! I seem to be having a problem when I create my vellumsolver. When I attach the vellumobject I seem to get a red hazard light and then my spheres don't seem to appear after I've setup the vellumsource. Do you have any idea why this may be?

Thank you, how would I randomize the sphere's scale ? I tried adding random Pascale but didnt work .
@ShortSweet3D4 жыл бұрын
One way would be to put at transform after the sphere, before the Vellum cloth and then set a random expression on the uniform scale with the current frame as the seed value.

Man have you tried rendering this? I am doing something similar to you but some emitting spheres to a cloth. The point is after the simulation I cant get to render the spheres with a material, it just doesnt appear on camera

I know nothing about Houdini, but apparently youtube thought I'd be interested in Sticky Balls.
