You are the only one who ive seen created a straight forward vellum workflow.I didn't know how to set it up from scratch without the menue .Id like to see more tutorials where user actually know how to set these up manually.

This is brilliant! I know you made these a few years ago, but still relevant. Thanks very much.

Thanks for showing that constraints property. Ever since Vellum came out, to me it seems like you could use it as a basis for so many effects that are not directly related to things like cloth, grains, 'softbody' like here, etc.. So far behind in getting up to speed with Vellum, especially with what seems like a very comprehensive tut by J. Lait recently. You've perked my interest to finish my current projects to come back and work with Vellum because of this node alone(Vellum Constraints Property). Looks like potential for lots of creative wrangling there. Thanks again.

An even simpler approach instead of piping in a full latte dopnet is to write out a *stretch group* on the constraints sop, then jump in the Vellum solver on SOP level and add the *Vellum constraint property* node in there.

Cheers! Always good with alternative approaches :)

yeah that's what I thought too. But I tried both and they doesn't seem to behave the same way at all. Let's say you put your stiffness to 0.1 with vellum constraint properties, in a dopnet it will totally collapse, which is what you would expect. With a vellum solver in SOP it will only deform not collapse, it's like the pressure is still in there; I don't know what I'm doing wrong again x)

@@tetsuooshima832 maybe the vellum solver has default air resistance in forces that the dip net doesn’t have unless you add it
