My favorite is when people find out that the other person deals with something like Autism or Diabetes on the regular and STILL don't educate themselves on the topic. Idk about anyone else, but when I found out my grandmother was diabetic, I did SOME research as to what is going on so then I'm not ENTIRELY useless if shit were to happen (ketoacidosis is a real threat, you can't change my mind). And Autism is one you should familiarize yourself with anyway, as the statistic is now 1 in 32 children with Autism, compared to the 1 in 100 or 1 in 64 it was back in 2011.

@@aiodensghost8645 for the most part I don't mask. Because funnily enough I passed as normal for 16 years before I got diagnosed. So I didn't really have to mask growing up. I was the weird kid who picked her nose in public. And I did sometimes have this strong need to chew on things with funny textures. And smart me thought of looking around to make sure nobody was looking at me before I did said things. But thinking about it now I do mask a bit. Because I always referred to my character as childish at home and mature outside. I'd cuss and say quirky things to classmates. But I'd act like a child and emote like one at home. Maybe that's all I hide.
