I'm pretty sure I agree with you, Amarthwen, but I'm now questioning how many times in my life I've actually encountered ripe strawberries. And how many of those times I dismissed the smell as being some other nearby plant or outdoor smell. Edit: better question: how many times have I encountered a ripe strawberry that wasn't shriveled or covered in bug bites?

Just wanna point out that salmon pink is named after the color their scales take on during breeding season, not their meat. Their meat is orange.

Hmm, interesting, but some breeds of salmon don’t change color. We don’t have any that do in the Nordics as far as I know, but we still use the phrase “salmon red”. Also, their meat might be orange, but their skin turns red, while salmon pink is something in between.

I've been rping with my girlfriend in google docs for years now. It's an excellent platform. Though, it only takes 1 douchebag in the class to sign in at night when everyone is asleep and delete all of the classes notes. If you have edit access, you have everything you need. So... to those who find this idea brilliant, it's only as brilliant as your weakest classmate. It's a lot of power to give to the person who creates the shared file since they can solely delete it.

I know where the students learned to use google docs and work together. Remote learning during the lockdown. Google docs was a Huge part of that year. And My kids teacher had the kids regularly work in groups of four.

The one about strawberries makes me wonder what kind of strawberries do they have in America, or from whereever the author and responder are. Our (Polish) strawberries do have a smell. When you go to te market square in early summer you can smell the stands where they are sold. They are also red inside, sweet and generally amazing.

Granted I'm not much of a comic book reader, but given that out of all the metals we know of only four are actually magnetic, Iron, Nickel, Cobalt and Neodymium ( not counting the alloys composed of one or more of these metals ) means that the idea that Tony Stark could make, or likely already has made, an Iron Man suit comprised of non magnetic metals possible.

I'm pretty sure Magneto's power isn't actually magnetism and is more just 'general control of metal'. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to stop bullets as bullets are usually comprised of copper, brass and lead. And you wouldn't have to rely on glass weapons or wooden weapons to have any chance of harming him.

The ironman one pains me because, at least in the mcu timeline, I don't really read comics, the Iron Man suit is made out of a completely non-magnetic alloy, the name iron man is just a holdover from the first and second models so he didn't have to do some major rebranding.

I live in the levant, we put a paste made of sesame seeds called (Tahini) on many dishes, add a pinch of salt, a squeeze of lemon, and scoop the avocado dish with pita bread. other cultures are starting to use similar methods to Tahini sauce with their cuisine, and I believe soon Tahini will take over the world just like Hummus (which has Tahini in it) is now eaten in every country of the world.

The “using a collective google doc to take notes” is exactly what schools should be and the biggest issue with this sort of stuff is making sure the students use it for the school work and nothing else. As a teacher you want the students to help each other it can sometimes explain things in a way the student having troubles didn’t get before and help them understand and it will challenge the person explaining it and help them see where they might have issues understanding too.
