From what I remember, it's free for personal use, but companies that want to use it for their for-profit product have to pay. It's not an unusual price for a font. Even if you do have to pay for it for personal use, other things that cost money to make cost money to buy. Like wheelchairs and my ADD medicine. RE: Cables Inside, the conducting wire is usually twisted. There are usually 2-4 wires per cable, and the 'funky cable' happens when one of the wires gets pulled on somehow, forcing it to straighten, and forcing the other wires to push out.
