you will be getting an essay out of ME. first of all, pairing one day with one of my favourite ts song?? that it in self makes for a BEAUTIFUL edit. I was waiting for someone to make this edit with evermore it fits soooo perfectly. I love how you focused more on dex's grief and all the pain he went through. I love that theres this feeling of hopefulness with the song, and although we'll never get over grief, we do learn to live with it and the last year really showed Dex not necessarily moving on, but moving forward in life. I loved seeing the last few scenes of him along with the last few lines of the song and the strength he had to come back to their spots to keep Emma's memory alive. thank you thank you for this ❤

new here to your channel, but i'm so glad that this edit was recommended to me because it's absolutely brilliant! you've portrayed their story so wonderfully, to one of my favorite songs ever and i don't think i can fathom the beauty of this edit through a paragraph, or an essay, although i will try my best to. first of all, starting off with that quote was the perfect choice! the intro is amazing and then 0:25-0:27 the lyric "i've been down since july" followed by 15th july 2002 _the way i audibly gasped for that_ 0:30-0:35 crying, him 'replaying his footsteps' , those parallels with emma in the past CRIMINAL😭 the letters, the way you've highlighted dexter's trauma and grief after emma's death is so heartbreakingly perfect💔 that, followed by "i had a feeling so peculiar that this pain would be for evermore" with that scene of dexter breaking down in the car *trauma* 1:13-1:16 "dont cry" definitely sobbed there. 1:24- 1:27 that scene with "all was lost" ?! _JAIL_ 1:49-1:58 and again. ♾😭 the whole bridge of evermore in this video has been edited so intimately, to absolute perfection! he thought of her. he dreamt of her. and yes it was all real enough.!! that transition from 2:41- 2:43 THE AUDACITY, I CANT EVEN- 😭 the way you've later paralled all of dexter's grief is really special, he truly deserves the world. 3:17- 3:26 now this is the perfect build up for a stunning outro. "this pain wouldn't be for evermore" facts right there as we see dexter moving forward in his life, not exactly moving on from emma, never that. but it's real. it's raw. and this edit right here is a masterpiece. 3:31- 3:47 honestly this is my favorite part of the edit. they were amazing together. em & dex. dex & em. they deserved the world🥺 all in all, this is undoubtedly my favorite edit i've seen of one day thus far, and i shall definitely be rewatching this despite the heavy amounts of pain, because it's absolutely worth it. thank you❤️‍🩹
