70 yrs old, been doing weights for long time to support my running. Now adding a heavier weight session each week after watching this. Maxed out on my heaviest 7.5kg dumbells for lower body moves so decided to move to using my barbell which I used to do Body pump years ago in UK. Been ignoring my barbell lurking in a corner of my home gym! So thanks for getting me to challenge myself more,😊

Emma has changed our lives. I am 66 and my wife 70, with Emma’s guidance we have gained strength to live well. No athletic background just a great coach in Emma, professional and very knowledgable, and one of the nicest people you’ll meet. Good luck with the training Simon

Good to hear explanations from somebody with practical experience who knows what they’re taking about. The more and the more variety of activities we do in later life the better. Just don’t wear your joints out😊72 year old hiker and very leisurely cyclist here. Be careful too.

I have been mixing up ‘strength’ with ‘endurance’ for far too long! This has given me some solid ways to improve for the coming year - very useful information here. (I also really like the dog wandering around hoping someone will play with him!)

Thanks for this, much appreciated. I’ve been doing a bit here and there, on and off, for a few years, I now realise completely unfocused and ineffective. This has really helped to pinpoint what I need to be doing having just turned 60. Cheers.

That’s exactly it - put better than I did. It’s the focus that counts. It really is why I emphasised having someone who knows their stuff to help set out a programme.
