I just love how well the writers managed to intertwine Emma's loss that has already happened with Charming's looming death.
So, will Emma's feelings still be the same after knowing that Neal is still alive?

I was really in love with Emma and Neal's relationship. They really had never stopped loving each other 😭😭 and then he died. At the end of course I ship CS but I'll never get over the fact Neal and Emma didn't get at least a happy moment

The show ended years ago. And I came around to Hook. But I will always feel that Neal deserved better. And he and Emma should have ended up togther.

i love both the ships ngl i wish that instead of two henry’s (at the end) it was two emma’s and one ended up with neal and one was with hook but that would change the whole plot

I just love how concerned charming was how awful it must be watching her be sad like that over Neal and they can't do anything charming would have been such a good dad to Emma growing up and he still was he loved her always no matter what did everything he could for her

I think the original plan was to have Emma end up with Neal. But the actor Collin who played Hook did such a good job in his role and fans loved the chemistry Jennifer and Collin had in S2. So the writers changed it up start of s3 and made hook the main love interest and killed off Neal.
