While the "When I win your heart...." speech was lovely, what really gets to me in this scene is how confident he is in her abilities. At this point, romance really isn't even close to the top of Emma's priority list - all she can think about is finding her son, and Killian's reassurance of his belief in her is something that she very much needed to hear. It's clear that she's highly doubtful of herself, so hearing him say he's "yet to see her fail" and that he knows she will succeed was just the self esteem booster she needed. That's what makes this scene incredible to watch, and also what makes it plain to see that Killian is better suited to Emma than anyone else.

I think what it is about his confidence, is that he believes in himself and has faith, that if he continues to be the honourable man that he has been, and fighting for her, that is how he will win her heart... but he wants the Emma, that will want him over Neal, over her walls etc. His faith in his love is good because there isnt a fear and love is about overcoming fear etc.

This is probably my favorite Hook and Emma scene. He was so honest with her and I can feel the love with his speech and with the way he said it. Emma's reaction to what he was saying was so beautiful. She smiles, her eye flutters, you can feel the tension, and she looks at him with eyes full of hope. It's obvious how much he means to her, which was made even more obvious later in the episode, because it is Hook she calls out for in dark hollow.

It just baffles me that this is even a choice she has to make? She knows Hook genuinely loves her. Yeah, Neil loves her and they have a child together, but leaving her was unforgivable. He was also going to marry Tamara, and now that she's out of the picture he wants Emma? Screw that. Hook would take a bullet for her... which I hope he doesn't... 'cause I think she deserves a happy ending with Hook. Plus, he takes her breath away. Obviously, she loves him too.

To be fair to Neal, he didn't know she was pregnant when he left her, and he left her because August told him it was the only way for her to fulfill her destiny and save her family. Of course he's not blameless, he did choose not to find her after the curse was broken and got engaged to another woman. But I don't think that is unforgivable, especially since ten years had passed by that point. It was a lot easier for him to move on with someone new than go back and face his guilt for leaving her. I ship Hook and Emma, but I don't think making Neal out to be a bad and unforgivable guy is the way to do it.

Nhu Hoang I personally think if Neal had not died she most likely would have chosen him. Neal did everything he could to get back to her and Henry when they were in the EF. And when they everyone got back to Storybrooke the first person she asked about was finding Neal. She saw Neal in her vision in Season 5. He was her best friend, and she loved him. They did have true love. True Love never dies and Emma’s love for Neal never dies. She never stopped Loving Neal but she was afraid of opening her heart up again.

The look of disappointment on Hook's face when she calls him a pirate = heartbreaking. In "Good Form", he said that the kiss meant that Emma was starting to see him as a man of honor/more than a pirate. But Hook is showing that he's not giving up. And I love how she wants him to confirm that she'll succeed in saving her son- because she trusts him and he's been by her side this whole time. Emma, just pick him!

What I really like about this conversation is the bit after he tells her he'll win her heart. When she's talking about making the right decisions to save Henry and sounds a little unsure of herself... Hook has no doubts. AND, most importantly, his belief in Emma is based on cold hard facts. None of your "true love" and "happy endings just because fairy tales" bull that Snow White is constantly peddling. He's seen what she can do and has no doubts that she'll get Henry back because he knows how strong she is and how capable she is, even if she doesn't.

Emma deserves a guy that will be devoted to her wholeheartendly and she needs that in her life/love!... love & devotion is something Hook knows about,& he has such immense faith / believe in Emma & also his own feelings & love for her, that is why he is fighting the right way, the good form way to earn her heart, her heart is the important thing coz it matters and her choice. This is a guy who says things like i will follow u till the ends of the earth... and you just know he would, & thats what Emma deserves, and really when hasnt Hook not followed Emma, ever since meeting her in Enchanted Forest, he has followed even if the reason was something entirely different and situation, but here he is all hers!

Love the writing for Hooks character!!! For once we r getting a character with depth!! Every episode this season is building and adding to who Hook is truely.....also love the confidence he has in Emma......all Hook does is mention her succeeding and she right away leans on his support. Okay so here's the thing, I always ship the other guy. the guy the girl is teased with, but never ends up with. She always ends up with the more noble, heroic guy. I'm exactly the same! I always ship the wrong couple - Spike/Buffy, Gio/betty, Lisbon/Jane to a degree - one of these times I just have to back a winner...don't I? I'd be really ticked off if the writer's write scene's like this and then be so cruel as to either a) kill one of them off (Hook) or b) contrive some silly scene where one or the other (again probably Hook) mistakes what they're seeing for something it's not (Neal kissing Emma but then NOT seeing her push him away) and then he's so upset he goes back to his 'pirate' ways. I hope now that he's returning to the man he once was, he stays that way, whatever happens between he and Emma.

I don't know what or what it just me or maybe just how it was said but for me, when Neal said "Oh, thanks but she's got me now" sounded like he was trying to be cocky. Like he was trying to tel Hook, Emma is my girl and I can protect her. You can go name... I have nothing against Neal but I just thought when he said those words, I felt like it sounded he thinks Emma can't handle herself, that she needs him to protect her when she is capable of handling herself... I just couldn't stand that part of this scene.. I had to point this out for it was something that was bugging me..

Like I said before: hate when they say: "you are a pirate", emma included. Hook always looks so sad when they say it. They're just judging Hook because he got the wrong way but noone sees that HE IS CHANGING and getting back to the noble person he was. He is redeeming himself just like any other character, like Regina. They have changed. They're becoming kind of heroes and letting behind the villian side. He is new because of love. I don't know if they will get together but I wish them stop judging this character. Everyone have changed, like Hook is doing right now.
