Emma is rough when it is humid... Video doesn't come close to doing those ledges justice. I still haven't been able to sack up and do the drop at 0:30 since I took a nasty spill there a couple years ago...

+Cooper Sellers Yea, it was brutal, think I'll wait until winter before I return, lol. As for the ledges, that's one reason I've started using a rear camera; the videos are longer, but it helps shape the terrain in your mind a little better. The drop at :30 will mess with your head... it isn't bad by itself, but the rough terrain leading to it makes it tough to line up right and carry much speed, otherwise it's mind over matter.

Yeah, it's that rooty tree gate right before it that is in my head (and was what instigated my fall a couple years ago)

Ive never figured out why people shoot from behind. Its just not the same as not knowing what is ahead.

It's to give more dimension to the terrain since the front flattens things out so much; you get to see things from both directions to get a better feel for what to expect.

It was a Yeti ASR5, this was one of my last rides on it.

I'm gonna be heading out here this weekend, and watched this video to decide whether to bring flats or clips b/c I'm kindof new to clips so I dont wanna kill myself. This video convinced me to ride flats lmao!!! This looks sick af😂
@Gotdurt8 жыл бұрын
Either way, really; this was my first time riding flats on this trail. Clipless makes climbing the ledges a little easier, especially for that last bit of 'umph' over the top ledge in a series of ledges ;)

Do you need to adjust your bikes geometry to accommodate the weight of all the water that gets caught in your beard?

"Raindrops keep fallin' from my head"...would have been an appropriate tune while squeegeeing the sweat from your brow hehe. Solid riding and edit as usual. I still need to learn how to use the GoPro edit software. Got discouraged and quit trying a while back.
