Emma is one special player both on and off the court. It is doubtful that anyone will repeat her US Open win from qualies to final without dropping a set, but it gives young girls hope that they might. I love that tantalising thought...🤟

This is what I remember from the later rounds. Many shots landing right near the lines and the corners. And running to net, often taking the ball before it bounced. After the '21 open, Covid . . . I think she just plain had an energy and stamina loss after Covid for a time.

When was the last time you heard a famous professional tennis player this young to have multiple operations? her body condition is clearly not fit for the ATP tournament.
