Blackbeard, Edward Teach, was a well-known pirate in the 17th century. As was his flagship, Queen Anne's Revenge. He didn't die by some hokey ancient ritual though, although there was a rumot that his headless body swam 3 times around a ship.

Thanks, Emma. Just one left now. This one didn't get much love. I really enjoyed it though. The aggressive mermaids were fun to watch. And nice to see Keith Richards (Jack's Dad) again. And really, Ian McShane (Blackbeard) is always a joy to watch in anything. The movie has a fun story and tons of great actors. Sometimes that's all one needs...

I vea always thought Black beards ending was so fitting. He was willing to let her own daughter die if that mean he could keep on living and doing horrible things not just crimes like most pirates. The fact that he was a cold blooded and relentless individual who had the nerve to call jack trickster and devil is hilarious considering he was a human piece of garbage😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

Even without Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, this movie was good. The introduction of Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane and the preservation of the character of Barbosa were a fair compensation.

No. I am pretty sure she was talking about her vows as a nun. Her vows to God. Because he met her in a spanish convent and he had sex with her which ruined her whole chastity thing which nuns are supposed to do. So basically she was a virgin set to become a nun and Jack desecrated her walls and "corrupted" her.

As for Angelica, I think she's saying this because she's heartbroken. I don't think she regrets being with Jack, she just wants to blame him.

Always got to be careful when Mermaids want to churn butter. The films 4 and 5 are often not received well but they are just other tails of the Caribbean pirates. If they did not rely so heavy on Captain Jack Sparrow in all of the films (would not have been any where as good with out )these would have been way better.

I love these films. It's a shame that Disney forced him out of the role of Captain Jack Sparrow on allegations of domestic abuse that turned out to be not only false, but backward. I hope he comes back to reclaim his character in the sixth installment of the series, but would understand if he didn't. Fun fact Emma. Johnny Depp makes surprise visits children's hospitals around the world as Captain Jack Sparrow. He dresses up in full costume and makeup, and never breaks character, handing out pirate gold to kids with terminal illness and encouraging them to keep smiling. He does it for a couple of reasons. He has extreme social anxiety, and it helps him to focus on the needs of others and come out of his own shell as he realizes there are others with more debilitating issues than his own. He has also experienced childhood disease in his own family, and understands the toll it takes. You can look up these interactions online, as they've been recorded on video by many loving fans. It's amazing. Johnny Depp is an exceptional actor, and an even more exceptional human being.
