Packing is hands down the worst part of moving, it is always overwhelming to get started and always gets worse before it gets better! I am like you and just freeze when I am to overwhelmed because I can’t decide what should be done first and then end up wasting time deciding what to do instead of just getting started. I can’t wait to see how your new home comes along! 💛

I am watching this, and I am feeling for you. Having moved multiple times, knowing you haven’t started packing, so overwhelming! Every time you move you have sad feeling leaving a place of so many memories. Go through each room and say goodbye. Believe it is so much easier in your 20s and 30s than in your 60s and 70s.

I definitely get attached to places! I recently got divorced and my ex wanted our house and grieving having to move out of my house has been the hardest part by far. I loved our home and we lived there for 4.5 years, the longest I've lived anywhere in my adult life. So I feel you on that nostalgia!

We actually moved back in august and probably the saddest part for me was packing my son’s room. I sat in his room and cried! I really hated the house as a whole because it was just a constant stress in our lives but the memories still hit hard!

I get the same way with packing! But I love that I focus and work better with in categories, so that’s how I tackle packing cause otherwise I would cry endlessly. I definitely get attached to places too! Moving is extremely difficult for me but I try to focus on the positive with moving rather than attachments.

I freeze too.... I'm really overwhelmed right now, I'm studying for my master's and have no idea what I am doing or how to articulate it, just spent and hour crying, because I'm so focused on that I've let housework pile up so that's overwhelming me too, so I decided to watch your video instead and it is brilliant as always xxx
