Your home is a cool and calm haven. I just love those windows that open on such an angle that you can leave them open even in the rain. The fact that they're all black and match all the metal structures around the house is so chic and clean. The kitchen is so cozy and liveable. And the "children" lying around on the couch make it extra snugable. ❤

The thing about your renovation is that it feels so intentional. It feels like you know what you want to use it for (or what makes sense both for yourselves and if you want to sell in the future). And I love your home, it's just so calm and light and beautiful. Even the things I'd do differently to my own personal needs, it just looks really really beautiful, well utilized and like a loved and cared for home.

Stunning Emma, I love how fluid your renovation is throughout every room you’ve transformed. It all merges so well and is homey, yet minimalist, neutral, earthy, sleek and stylish. You have such an eye for design, well done! Could you do a video where you talk us through your process when starting from scratch? What do you do? Make a mood board of the colours and items you’d like and build from there with the layout and budget in mind? I’m sure there’s much more to it than that so would love to see how you get from A to B and your vision comes to life! 👏

Sorry you have been unwell and thank you for filming despite getting breathless. You have such a lovely home with the perfect balance between it being not too cluttered yet not too stark. It looks such a relaxing house; I can see the B's appreciate it too. Pets certainly teach you how to relax and just do nothing for a while. Love my Shark vacuum. Good choice! Also really appreciate that you are not in a rush to fill out all the spaces and you take your time with your renovations. I'm sure there is pressure for content, but if you don't want to be wasteful you really need to live in your spaces to figure how what works best for you. We have vastly different styles but that hasn't stopped me from enjoying your videos. Thanks for sharing.

Your home is the most soothing eye candy ever. And you’re human, because of that upstairs catch all room. I have one too. It’s my den. Love your home tour and all the renovations you both put in. I also watched your previous home loved that one too. My favourite area is the kitchen and the lounge. Always nice to have a kitchen island. Bedroom i prefer upstairs feel safer than being on the ground floor 😟. I love the shower where there is a nook to place shampoo and body wash etc so handy than having those tacky holders you just hang over the shower or corner space. Always nice seeing the doggies. ❤

I’ve heard other people say that but in my head it’s safe downstairs because if someone comes in on the ground floor you’re trapped upstairs as they can cut off your escape route. If you were downstairs then you can always escape being on the ground floor, no having to jump out of a first story window. Not that I’ve given it much thought 🤪🤣🙈

You have done a good job transforming your home and love the kitchen and cosy sitting room but the bedrooms need some love. I like to sleep upstairs and the guest room is where I would sleep. Character needs to be injected with art etc and furnishings ie window and bed and cushions. I love your laundry room and I use a large bathroom with a rail as my hanging/drying area. It has a scandanavian feel I thought. You do keep very clean and minimalist. I hang my coats in a cute understairs cupboard and also keep my grandchildren's toys (some of them) in the same cupboard. I have two bookcases which really add character to the rooms and love books.

If I may, don’t move the art over the couch to be centered on the wall. Move it slightly left to center it just on the two seater. I think it adds more visual interest. Lovely updates to your home!

We're keeping the door to that bathroom solid as that's a bathroom that anyone visiting would use and I wouldn't feel comfortable going to the bathroom in someone else's home if they had a glass door, even with obscure glass as you can still see silhouettes when the light is on 🙈 The darkness doesn't bother me as we have nice bright lights so would never use the bathroom without the lights on x

Such a lovely calming space, and what makes a room more cosy and homely than dogs gently snoozing on the sofa ❤ I recently came across a remedy you may like to try which benefits and strengthens the lungs, so great after covid - pear soup! Simply core a pear, chop up, place in boiling water and simmer for an hour, then sip. Really good for you, a recipe I found from a lovely kung fu master I follow 😊

Yes but we have neighbours who have them and have said that they haven't paid themselves off yet and It's been a few years. We are't planning on staying here so don't want to spend out on them when it's not our forever home x
