Winner of a video, I've been looking for "earn income blogging" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Toniam Blogging Boheimeth - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate got great success with it.

Emma, I have to say that you totally amaze and inspire me with your work ethic. I have (in the last year) begun following a few vlogs and blogs and see a huge difference in people who truly put a ton of work into theirs versus those who slide by. Lately, I've noticed their are some (particularly younger 'it girl' kind of vloggers that have huge followings but write the sloppiest 3-sentence blogs that mostly say, "hi loves---had a blast drinking coffee yesterday" and where every single vlog is a collaboration with no real content). But then there is you---recording, editing, understanding your audience, writing well-composed blogs, and providing excellent information and detail in your vlogs...NOT TO MENTION answering nearly every frigging comment personally. I (recently) read a blog post you wrote entitled, "How to Run Your Blog as a Successful Business" and it was excellent...detailed, comprehensive and honest. Even the recent vlog you uploaded about using Vestiare was so comprehensive, well thought out, and full of valuable content that I was shocked at the attention you put into planning it right down to the Iphone screen shots/vids while you were speaking. To be honest when I started watching that one, I thought ummm ok everyone pretty much knows how to shop online...but man, I learned A LOT about using that particular site. You and your husband should feel so proud because the effort and professionalism you put into your careers really comes through. I am inspired! (And sorry this comment was sooooooo long.)

It was a much slower process back then because it was all new. Having said that we didn't even know that blogs would turn into money-earners/careers. It took me about 5 1/2 years before I actually earned any money, and I was also a little slow on the uptake surrounding affiliate links etc (which I'll go into in more detail in my next video) but I have really enjoyed watching this grow from one level to another and I'm incredibly grateful that I get to do this as a job and earn a living ♥️

The hardest thing for me about starting a blog is picking a domain name. I really wanted my name, but its already taken so I am working on brainstorming other options. Like maybe going with a .net or using a dash between my name. Love that you gave tips on cameras too. Right now I have a webcam but am looking to upgrade soon!

Hi Emma! I just wanted to say that there actually is a way to schedule Instagram posts! There's an app (and a website) called Later that let's you set a time when to post! :) It's quite nice and I'm using it too! So yeah...have a great day!

Hi Emma! This video (!!) might just push me to start my blog... I've had so many attempts over the years, because I have so many ideas. But I also have so many fears. I feel like everyone is doing the same thing, and I'm afraid of just getting lost in cyberspace. Also, the more the years go by, the more I feel selfconscious and the more I don't like other people's judgement. But enough rambling, your videos and content are amazing, and truly inspiring! I love it!

I totally understand all your concerns. If I'm being honest I do believe it's harder to have a successful blog these days. It's not harder to start one, it's actually easier now, but it is harder to gain 'numbers'. The reason for that is now people are starting blogs for what I would deem as the wrong reasons, for "freebies", to be "Insta Famous", to "make loads of money" (another misconception about blogging too). There's nothing wrong with being ambitious but in my opinion blogs should be started because they're a passion. It's an oversaturated market out there so the 'being yourself' part is crucial but obviously that has it's downsides too, because if someone doesn't like you then that's personal. It does take a thick skin to be in this industry but it also takes some serious self-love. I don't get any real hate for some reason but any negatives that I do see, I just appreciate that not everyone on the earth is the same and will like the same things, if they did wouldn't it be boring? ♥️
