The gallery wall art is really interesting and nicely compliments the plants. I'm a big Tarantino fan so I will check out the artist. I would recommend looking up "gallery wall layouts" online. It would help even out the inconsistencies in spacing between the different pieces. You'd also be better able to fit more pieces. There's definitely room for a few more if you reconfigure.

A few weeks ago one of your vids popped up on my home page and I am hooked on all the DIY project. It made me all exited to start on our own house that in is need of some DIY. I started to declutter the guest bedroom last week and I can't believe how much stuff was in there that we don't need. I just gave to large bags to a charity shop, came home and sat down to watch this vid.

Those prints in the kitchen really complete it! My husband sometimes liked things that I didn’t, but the interesting thing is that when you have some items in a different style added into the mix it really really makes the place more interesting . Plus it looks more like a home evolved over time rather than a “matchy matchy” house ( I ramble but hopefully you get what I am trying to say)

I love what you all have done. I think that gallery wall is cool! Simon did a great job 👍. Those dining room chairs are beautiful. An added bonus is that they are comfortable! Plantation shutters in those front windows will be stunning. 💖 I can't wait to see what that doggie side board is going to look like and their reaction to it. In the North West there are a number of different styles of terraced properties but I’ve yet to see any with as many floors as you have. To have six levels if you Include the loft is fab but very unusual. I do have a thing for cellars they’re something I find intriguing...wish I had one (live in a bungalow🥴) Lovely reno😍

Yes ours is very unusual, I think because its had a number of extensions over the years (before we purchased it) which is one of the reasons we were so interested in it ❤️

I’m not sure if you have already ordered your shutters... but we had a palava about 6 months ago with them! We went with a cheap online company at first for them and they all arrived damaged(after 12 weeks of waiting for them) so we ended up going for a more commercial well known company and are SO pleased with them 😬 they were a little more pricey, but it was worth it

Everything is looking really great! Love the two different style dining chairs together, looks so classy. We have plantation shutters in our lounge, dining and kitchen area (open plan). They look absolutely stunning. We love them. We were hoping to get them in all our bedrooms soon but apparently there’s going to be a massive delay due to the coronavirus as they are mostly made in China (well the companies that supply Australia anyway). Hopefully yours will be coming from somewhere else. Finger’s crossed 🤞🏻

Emma, this renovation is so beautiful! If your basement has flooded once, it will flood again, creating mould (damp) which HOPEFULLY can be completely remediated. Please have your builders install all necessary pumps, etc. to assure flooding doesn't happen. Your foundation should also be checked and repaired if necessary. Please ignore this if you have already had these things done.

We did get the leak issue sorted last year and we left it to make sure it was water tight (which it appears to be considering all the rain we have had this winter), so hopefully all will be well. 👍
