11:38 - I know I'm late to the party, but the garage owned by Rex's friends is the garage of Trace and Rafa (from The Clone Wars S7 episodes - Gone With a Trace, Deal No Deal, Dangerous Debt, and Together Again)! The sisters are also implied to have been working with Rex from The Bad Batch, S1:E6.

Senator Chu Chi was in a few episodes of the Clone Wars, so that might be why she sounds familiar to you. She's a friend of Padmé's. She's also voiced by well-known voice actress Jennifer Hale, who has voiced countless roles in countless franchises, though she's putting on a bit more of an accent here than usual.

Classic Palpatine play. Heads I win, tails you lose. If Kamino Massacre is not brought to light, Rampart's legislation passes and Empire gets those conscription soldiers. But if it is, he always had that backup prepared.

16:27 Halle burtoni was the one that conspired with the banking clan and the trade federation representatives(meaning she was present in most episodes involving the senate directly) She was also detained for questioning in the episode where a old senator was poisoned (the senator was the race that greedo in a new hope was)
@timidwolf Жыл бұрын
The Clones' accent is meant to resemble a New Zealand accent. Senator Chuchi's race, Pantorans are meant to have a South African accent. Halle Burtoni has been in a few episodes of Clone Wars, most notably in the Senate conspiracy story arc when Padme's "Uncle" Ono of Rodia was assassinated.

These are my favorite episodes of season 2 so far. I always really liked Senator Chuchi from Clone Wars, even though she wasn't in it a whole lot, and after these episodes I just liked her all the more. It was great seeing so many familiar faces on Coruscant again with all the senators. Btw the garage that Rex was using that belonged to some friends of his was in reference to Trace and Rafa Martez who Ahsoka met in Clone Wars season 7, and who showed up working with Rex in season 1. Ahsoka and Rex must have hid out with them for a little bit after escaping Order 66.

You didn't recognize this clone. There is no confirmation who it is, but I have a candidate. We do not know his number and military rank. He knows Rex. I think it could be Slik, a traitor Clone from the Clone Wars. We don't know what happened to him after his arrest, and this clone was clearly brainwashed. Something like this would be easier to do on a prisoner.
@starlighter93 Жыл бұрын
Whoever he was, I thought he should have been Dogma. I know that one couldn't be him because Dogma had a face tattoo and this one didn't. But the things he said sounded very "dogmatic". :D Slik I think is different. He thought the clones were slaves of the Republic and he wanted freedom. He didn't want to live in servitude and follow their orders. Would he want to serve the Empire instead? I'm not sure.
@hehu4025 Жыл бұрын
@@starlighter93 After brainwashing, definitely yes. Like I said, Slik was a prisoner and that makes him an easy target to be brainwashed into a tool. 2 Option is Commando Clone "Bet" who fought for separatists after being brainwashed. He wanted to look like Jango. His story is in legends because it was very early scenario for the Clone Wars. The problem is that Bet had a duel with Barriss and he survived but was critically injured. He definitely wouldn't look like this after this duel (arm and right leg had to be mechanically strengthened because they were almost completely cut, additionally he had breathing problems for a while because he was healing broken ribs). Additionally, he was buried alive and most likely killed on Mygeto.

5:19 They look weird because they age faster. It was just said earlier by one of the senators who supported Rampart’s defense recruitment bill. 9:42 Anyone can sound different, same or similar. Regardless, Star Wars already has technology such as voice modulators/changers. For example, the small round droid like Obi-Wan swallowed when he was undercover, the Commando Droids disguising their voices on the Rishi Moon outpost, or the helmet the Clone Assassin is wearing can be equipped with it. 13:25 She was trying to see if she’s force sensitive when she meant meditating. 19:30 Those other pods are a diversion. It’ll buy some time to figure out which one was actually used inside. 22:30 Not Order 66. He already explained in Revenge of the Sith that he was being assassinated by the Jedi Order. Many see it as a defensive measure as to why they wiped out the Jedi Order & because they think they’re overthrowing the Senate. He meant the Clones who’re with Rampart didn’t do anything but follow orders. The Clones are now blamed for the destruction of a civilization. Who would trust Clones now after they did such a thing? No one feels safe around Clones because of what they did. If we were just like everyone else who don’t know what really happened or know the truth, would you trust your own military after what they did? In the long term, it’ll affect the relationship between other nations & your own people. All the more reason to have a new military, policies & people to hate Clones. Note: Sry if anyone thinks I spoiled some points. I assumed they were already watched given that she’s already here. For Clone Assassin, nothing has been said about them except them appearing in a video game but I can’t be certain with their armor design. Could mean a different armor version.

I was really surprised to see adult Chu-Chi. She is a very likable character. Actually, I like her so much that I even made a miniature of her, as a diplomat token for a stragegy boardgame ^^ Plus, Plapatine in that episode was a really cool manipulative b****. I mean, it's rare to see "good action" having "bad conscequences" in Star Wars nowadays. And that's kind of the heart of the message of these movies at first. What we do wrong for the right reasons.

5:00 Oh, you don't get it. Yeah, the Clones were never meant to fight the Separatists, the Rebels, or any other organized faction in the SW universe. They were meant for one purpose: to get behind the Jedi so that the Sith would order them to shoot the Jedi in the back. That's it. Palpatine sees that purpose as fulfilled and now he needs a military where the citizens' futures are tied directly to the success or failure of his Empire. That is why we only saw Clones in TCW and the Jedi had to bend a lot of rules to teach Saw Guerra's people how to fight. Also, Chuchi has a South African accent whereas Clones use Temura Morrision's New Zelander. British/Dutch Settler-Colonialist state in the Global South will sound similar. 10:00 You need to watch some classic movies like All the President's Men.

They were meant to be soldiers to fight for the republic. They were literally made to be soldiers. Them having chips in their heads to execute order 66 were a means to an end.
