So many people went into this show expecting the typical marvel action and hated how this show was being done especially the first 3 episodes. Some people even thinking the first 3 shouldnt even exist because they hated the mystery and having to wonder what was going on before the info dump. Personally I think theres so much content out there having the marvel shows kind of being unique and stand alone from the movies adds some variety to keep things from getting dull. And they can play with unique concepts like this.

That is one of the things I loved about WandaVision. After 20+ MCU movies they were suddenly free to play in a new format. They did it so well it is amazing.

The MCU started out with all the movies trying to be tonally unique, like hiring Kenneth Branagh to direct Thor to give it a classic Shakespearean feel apart from the WWII era Captain America and the more modern Iron Man, but then Guardians of the Galaxy and Deadpool both became huge hits at the same time and from then on every movie had to be a comedy with some intense drama added in. I still loved all the movies but tonally after a while they were pretty much the same. With the tv shows like this one starting to break the mold they are finally getting back to doing things differently again like having Sam Rami direct Dr. Strange to lean into the horror element.

This episode's influences from The Brady Bunch, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and The Partridge Family were fantastic. The opening titles and theme tune reminded me of The Mary Tyler Moore Show crossed with The Partridge Family.

Each theme song really captures the era of the episode. Just one great piece of the terrific series.

This show was great from the jump because we knew the truth of things in the backstory (Vision really died, like dead-dead, before the Snap) so the presentation is that this is a comedy when, really, it's a tragedy. It really hits on the rewatch.

Your reaction is great, and it's fun seeing how your take evolves. A huge number of us went nuts trying to figure out the clues when the show first came out.

It may be considered to just be down to semantics, but they didn't really use a lot of actual old equipment/lenses. The whole series was filmed with one camera and they would swap out lenses to get a different look for the time periods. For the older periods, they would test original equipment and get an idea of how they got the look they wanted, but then they would make new custom lenses that would replicate the old lenses. They did use older period lighting equipment, but the challenge of using old lighting compared to the challenge of using vintage lenses is vastly different.

Hey, Emme! EPISODE 3: We briefly leave the bubble this week! The sitcom being parodied this week is "The Brady Bunch". The Schwimmer look-a-like, Phil, married to Dottie the harridan is my favorite sad sack in Westview. Herb was glitching big-time and was unconsciously trying to hack through the set to escape! Vision is accurately referred to as a SYNTHEZOID since he has both inorganic electronic and mechanical components as well as synthetic organic components! Doctor Cho's synthetic skin was one such component shown in "Age of Ultron". Second Hydra reference in a commercial and this one directly related to "Agents of SHIELD"! Agnes sure didn't like not being the primary stage manager in Wanda's affairs. Fear over Wanda losing control or frustrated at not being able to direct a desired outcome? Glitching Wanda was like a scene from "Poltergeist"! Loved her breaking water deluge! Why was the stork impervious to her hexes? The harbinger of the twins outclassed Wanda's power or just more glitching? Tommy Shepherd aka SPEED and Billy Kaplan aka WICCAN have been born! Mentioning Pietro brings the Sokovian lilt to Wanda's voice! Could there be an Aaron Taylor-Johnson cameo in the works? Geraldine's pendant is the SWORD logo. She's an agent. She gets too close to the truth and is hurled out of Wanda's Westview bubble into the SWORD encampment! The aspect ratio becomes widescreen! Will they stay in the '70s next week or move on to the '80s and "Family Ties"?

Twins run in families. So if you are a twin, or a close relative to a twin, you are significantly more likely to have twins, than someone who has no close relative that is a twin.

Fun Fact: With the pregnancy thing you said about actress' covering their stomachs, Scarlett Johansson was pregnant during the filming of Age of Ultron so the CG'd her stomach out. There's a deleted scene where you can see her bump.

With how bad things are in the real world, I wish I was stuck in Wanda's sitcom universe. I actually hope to spend eternity in the Petrie household and behind their kitchen wall in the Alan Brady building. And I hope Wanda's there too. I love watching your adorable, confused face as you trying to figure out what's going on. That song at the end of this episode was a tribute to Marcia Brady's love for Davy Jones. Can't wait to see how you reacted to Episode 4.

It’s still the stand out show post MCU films. It’s baffling that people pushed back against it. Shows that some people just want big explosions. Because it delivers at every level and shows how broken by endgame Wanda was while everyone went and got their lives back Wanda had lost everything

Whoever told you the first 3 episodes were dropped at the same time, is a liar. They came out over a period of 3 weeks, one episode each week, just like the rest of the show.

Sorry to fact check. This show was released weekly. There wasn’t a 3 episode drop at the beginning. It is funny. There were some fans with very little patience who quit the show after three episodes. They could not handle the mystery.
