David and jacob have no idea how hard it is to battle an addiction! She was struggling with the divorce and come out of rehab. Nobodys been to check up on her and she didnt tell Jacob to carry the knife! She would NEVER put her own son in danger

The hypocrisy is astounding. The fact is Jacob (who’s legally an adult) wouldn’t be in there if he didn’t go out with a knife looking for a fight. That’s 100% on him.

Jacob took the knife with him becuase he wanted to scare Callum, he didn't want to fight with him or stab him. Also, Jacob wouldn't have gone there if he wouldn't have caught Leyla with the drugs.

@@Anonymous_Anon882 he did't think rationally when he saw Leyla was gonna use drugs. He was scared that Leyla would die this time. At that moment he thought it was wise thing to go to confront Callum and to make him realise he's serious he brought knife. It wasn't wise and Jacob knows it now. And again: Jacob wouldn't have done that if he wouldn't have caught Leyla with the drugs.

There’s no justification for Jacob putting himself in that situation and the truth is he wouldn’t have been hospitalised if he didn’t step out with a knife. We know what Leyla did (or was about to do) but she doesn’t control Jacob’a every-action.

Jacob has made his mind and he doesn't want to see Leyla. Hopefully Leyla'll listen and wait when Jacob's ready to see her again. It may take time but I think that one day Jacob might want her back in his life.

Because he wouldn't gone there to meet the drug dealer with knife if he wouldn't have caught Leyla with the drugs. After it he didn't think rationally as he was worried that Leyla is going to start using drugs again and that could lead Leyla dying, so he did very big error estimate. In his mind it was good idea to go threaten Callum to stay away from Leyla with knife. He thought that surely Callum would believe him if he had knife and he made threats towards him. Jacob didn't take in account that Callum isn't the only drug dealer and Leyla would find new drug dealer to have drugs if she wanted.

She didn’t actually take the coke so she is clean (and addictions come with relapses). Jacob needs to grow up and take responsibility for his actions. If alcohol was her blight and she had to find comfort in a bottle of Smirnoff/Gordon’s during a period of high stress, would it make sense for Jacob to take a knife with him to go and stab Chas?
