They need to turn that thang up. Jazz guitar is so quiet. It lacks presence. When you hear the sax, you know what's up. They need to give the guitar a bit more kick; be with timbre, clarity, and/or tone. make it the momentary star during its time taking the melody. Obviously if you bump the distortion, you got jazz fusion, which _this_ is not. Get someone like Django Reinhardt who knew how to make his guitar stand out, and I don't mean using his gypsy jazz style neither.

I saw him many years ago in my childhood in my city, Cádiz, in the south of Spain. He played songs from his album "Be yourself".
