Carolyn Bryant did not accuse him of whistling at her. This is a common misconception. He did whistle at her in front of everyone. Like one of those cartoonish cat call whistles. His cousin that is featured in this video and was there confirmed it. Carolyn Bryant accused him of sexually assaulting her inside of the store and that’s why her husband and brother in law murdered him. A writer that interviewed claimed that Carolyn Bryant recanted her accusations of sexual assault but she later refuted that. It is important to note that she did not come out of that store and immediately ask for help or claim that Emmett Till assaulted her in any way but that after he whistled at her she told her husband that he sexually assaulted her. Her story about the alleged sexual assault and the way it occurred has changed multiple times.

What about black on black crime
@ultimatenoob25182 жыл бұрын
Hmmmm.. It must be a sad day for trump supporters to hear about this.
@bbraskey802 жыл бұрын
Really? Considering it was Republicans who freed the slaves, i think you are just still butthurt over Trump. I bet the Biden cult can't wait to change their profile from a Ukranian flag to the anti-lynching bill pic, so they can virtue signal to the rest of the cult that they support the next current "thing".

Unfortunately that will never happen because the Democrats don't care about native Americans...democrats love appeasing the black community because that's all the democrat party has

You mean to say the huge majority of Americans that know that lynching is not a problem. Nor is racism but those in power want you to believe both are….wonder why they need to do that? Power comes out of division and when people don’t like your policies, redirect.

I have no issue with this law though I think it's just stacking another law upon another law that does the same thing. Just as long as it punishing the act of lynching by itself a hanging of a person unlawfully. And don't include anything else other than that certain act. If it does this is complete misuse of the law.

This comment is for all the bigots who will whine "Murder is already illegal." This law is for cases like Ahmaud Arbery's murder where the local police and prosecutors refused to charge the murderers with a crime and were free to go on as if they had done nothing wrong. Now stop being obtuse and ignorant.
