100 years to pass a ridiculous law, shows the total stupidity of the democrat party and those who support Joe Biden. A black person is Chicago faces the daily threat of being shot, probably by another black person, thousands of times more likely than ever being lynched. Jessie Smollett had to fake a lynching in Chicago, just to get sympathy. Black on black murder rate in Chicago is in double digits every week. Chicago is ran by a black lesbo democrat mayor.

It’s a kind of perverse virtue signaling. Yes, it’s already a crime and could be prosecutable under numerous charges. Does this bill change anything from a practical matter? No it does not. Does it make something illegal that previously was legal? No it does not. So we are left with the only thing it can accomplish is pandering or virtue signaling. We should expect nothing less from this administration.

Imagine if they put this much effort into the 5,000+ murders than happen every year in black communities. The reason why these things take so long is because no one cares about the 100s of senseless murders ever weekend in these same neighborhoods. Violence is part of the culture. Carolyn Bryant did not accuse him of whistling at her. This is a common misconception. He did whistle at her in front of everyone. Like one of those cartoonish cat call whistles. His cousin that is featured in this video and was there confirmed it. Carolyn Bryant accused him of sexually assaulting her inside of the store and that’s why her husband and brother in law murdered him. A writer that interviewed claimed that Carolyn Bryant recanted her accusations of sexual assault but she later refuted that. It is important to note that she did not come out of that store and immediately ask for help or claim that Emmett Till assaulted her in any way but that after he whistled at her she told her husband that he sexually assaulted her. Her story about the alleged sexual assault and the way it occurred has changed multiple times.

I have no issue with this law though I think it's just stacking another law upon another law that does the same thing. Just as long as it punishing the act of lynching by itself a hanging of a person unlawfully. And don't include anything else other than that certain act. If it does this is complete misuse of the law.

This comment is for all the bigots who will whine "Murder is already illegal." This law is for cases like Ahmaud Arbery's murder where the local police and prosecutors refused to charge the murderers with a crime and were free to go on as if they had done nothing wrong. Now stop being obtuse and ignorant.
