I think he was nervous as well. He really loves Doug and he is afraid that he is going to scare him off. He wants everything to be perfect. It is so sweet. This is also the first time he is going into a relationship feeling like he is equal and deserves to be happy. Go Ste!

This episode was fantastic. It really revealed a lot about Brendan's character, especially in his scene with Doug. Perfect writing. I can't say the same about the execution of everything, but I'm enjoying the storyline nonetheless.

(I am not kidding.it takes an hour to buffer the video and the first thing I do every morning is start my laptop and log in to youtube).I only follow Brendan's SL and I am probably (wink*) biased; but He steals the show.The eccentricity, the mannerism, the formidable 'stache. I think Ste's personality in front of Doug is still balanced. BB's problem is simple: he's always controlled by the domineering/bullying side of his own self. That being said, BB will end up as a lonely old man if no one appreciating what he's done in life, unless he changes his ways.

For Tough Guy Brendan to tell his son he's Gay and to tell Ste he loves him and now seems perfectly comfortable with everyone in town knowing he's Gay is a pretty big journey for Brendan Brady...and he did it all because he loves Ste, and everyone knows he loves Ste.

Brendan does have a bit of a point, Ste is passionate and he does have a lust for life inside him. Brendan does know Ste and not just in the bedroom, I'm sure they had a very intense satisfying sex life. But I don't think that means Stendan sex is better than Stug. Hopefully Stug get to take their relationship to the next level soon. I think Walker underestimates Ste and he can't seem to grasp how someone like Ste could bring someone like Brendan to his knees. it's kind of funny how so many people have jumped the wagon on this. doug was never intended to be gay, but suddenly he LOVES ste, and ste LOVES him back (the writers did a poor job at transitioning their friendship into a relationship.) everyone was totally against noah when he came along. dare i say the reason was because of his appearance (face it - it was). people are so easily influenced. i'm not saying this to bash the stug fans, i'm partially one myself, i'm just making an observation.

Yeah but Ste took almost 2 years with pretty constant intimate contact to figure out Brendan finally. Doug knows Brendan but he is nervous about being with Ste and the whole "what if I do it wrong. what if I suck" thing is flying through his head. Being with someone new is intimidating. Being with someone when you have never done anything like it before is petrifying. He is vulnerable right now. I love Doug, he is adorbs.
