EMMI Grabbed me out of the Teleporter

What was in that transporter was merely Samus's soul safely trapped inside an electric pattern copy of her body taken during the initial scan before her real body was grabbed and slaughtered. When that pattern arrived at it's destination without the actual body, the copy body was released, couldn't sustain itself, and her soul finally found itself without a host of any kind and that's when the game recognizes you as truly dead.

I respawned at the teleportal afterwards

This was duringba randomizer. There's not a physical way for this to occur in normal play
