This was such a nice change of scenery. Very unexpected and exciting, but I love that you took advantage of the nice weather. Sometimes it's really nice to spend a little time outside in the fresh air. Thank you for keeping me motivated to keep reading. My books that I was so excited about getting was Scythe and Thunderhead. I was so sad that I couldn't get them here in Scotland for so long as it was just a U.S. release until fairly recently. Finally got Scythe then not long after I got the second one. Also, you looked so professional doing the haul on the beach lol. Not a gust of wind or plane passing disturbed you at all.

I really loves The Power! I thought it was a really interesting examination of how power can affect and warp people, plus it has some super chilling moments. Lighter Than My Shadow is also really good! It's a super quick read-I think I finished it in two sittings. Quiet and thoughtful-really great. I bought Blackfish City in April and haven't gotten around to reading it yet, but I'm really looking forward to it!

I bought Let's Talk About Love for my best friend of 15 years, who came out to me as asexual about 3 years ago ... I was so nervous because I hadn't given her a book with ace rep before, but she absolutely loved it and said the representation was fantastic! (also fun fact, the mc is named Alice and my best friend is a HUGE Alice in Wonderland fan, so this book felt like it was written for her :D ) ... long story short, she gave it 5 stars ;)
