You get two slices of white bread and fully butter each side and the try your best to fit the whole bag of taytos in between and then give it a little pat on top to seal in the flavour.

we don't have cheese and onion flavor in the US, at least I've never seen any. We have sour cream and onion flavor and onion flavor(funyuns). I've tried both on sandwiches as well as cheddar flavor and other ones. Funyuns are terrible, sour cream and onion is ok, cheddar is ok, the winners(for me) are salt and vinegar or jalapeño.

We have pick and mix candy in Finland as well :). Because usually when I crave candy I want multiple different kinds rather than just one kind or a few mixed in a bag. Pick and mix is great also because you have the option of leaving out the candies you don't like, whereas that's not possible if you buy a bag of premixed candies.

Here in Norway, the pick-and-mix for candy is a normal as it can be, it's called smågodt (directly translated to small-treats) and there are so many different types! It's in literally every grocery store, and I'm surprised that it's unheard of in the rest of the world - I learned something new today! Thanks, Emmy. :)

Where I live, there's something similar to the Candy King cup? In some corner stores there will be an aisle of assorted candies that you can pick out and put in a bag. Depending on size and style, the candies range from 5c-25c and they're similar style to what was in your Ireland cup. And the bulk candies were often candies you wouldn't be able to get in a normal package, which was exciting. For example, I've only seen fuzzy coke gummies in these bins, and never in a grocery store!
