I grew up on the broadway cast recording... I'd even seen the show on tour. And was excited for the film but hesitant about the singing. Nope... they nailed it pretty damn well. ESPECIALLY her. So did I. But that was because the editing in the movie absolutely undercut her singing. And there seemed to be some audio sync issues that didn't match up. It was very strange, and Joel Schumacher thankfully never directed another musical after that.

Back when I did extra work, I got casted as a featured extra in SHAMELESS. The scene was in her restaurant where she was a waitress. Me and another guy played the guys that “Dine and Dash” without paying. Long story short, during filming Emmy Rossum needed a wardrobe change and she flat out just took her shirt off in front of everyone (wearing her bra of course). She’s so beautiful that I couldn’t help myself to look at her while she was doing it. When she finished putting on her new shirt she straight looked at me, caught me looking, winked at me, smiled and walked away. I’ll never forget that day. She is the whole package. I think it's because she has Celiac Disease and she was trying to eat the hot dog but not the bun. (Celiac is when they body has an autoimmune response to gluten and it damages the intestines)

How do you know she has perfect pitch? That's the ability to sing or identify a note without a reference point. If someone has perfect pitch, then they can sing, say, a C-sharp. It's also the ability to recognize a C-sharp. Both without a reference. It's easy to sing a C-sharp if someone plays a C on the piano. Or a G. Just something that you know as a reference. Yes, her singing the beginning of "O mio babbino caro" from the opera GIANNI SCHICCI was lovely. But just from that you don't know if she has perfect pitch.
