I agree with all these comments about Evan, but can we talk about Julianne Nicholson? She's been working tirelessly for decades in small, supporting roles, being one of those character actresses not everyone knows by name, with some occasional scene-stealing performances - Ivy from "August: Osage County" comes to mind, where she held her own alongside household names like Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and Benedict Cumberbatch. She's been burning slowly, just like her work in "Easttown". A lesson in subtlety, until, of course, she let's everything out in the very last moments. She's peaking at 50 and absolutely beating all the odds. Here's hoping for bigger and better opportunities for her, in small and big screens. Can't wait to see her as Marilyn's mom in "Blonde"!
