There is no way in hell that Angelina Jordan is NOT going to become the most famous singer in the world soon. Once people hear Angelina, they will realize that all "Big Name " singers out there today are second tier. All she needs is a great big "coming out" album, and for Republic Records to fulfill their promise to do a big world wide promotion as they promised. Angelina is the most unique singer on the planet, yet she has no EGO. She is magnificent in all ways. There will never be another Angelina in our lifetime.

When Gloria first released this song I became a fan of hers. Fast forward a bunch of years and Angelina came into my life hearing her sing this song made me cry. I cried again today. Just about every song I hear Angelina sing makes the tears come even after 4 years of being a fan. I went to Portsmouth and was an emotional wreck for hours afterwards. I can't understand why or how she does this to me. I'm a 66 yr old man and never felt like this.

I somehow missed this one, good reaction. You probably know by now Angelina rearranges all her covers. In an interview, one of the judges from NGT, said he went to rehearsal of her rehearsing Nancy Sinatra's cover of "Bang Bang". He said, "Angelina was telling the Base Player what she wanted, and at that time I knew she was the Real Deal", God Bless!

Michael, I love your chair! The difference in the way she looks & the way she sounds is slowly disappearing as she is 15 now. She has grown to over 6 ft tall & looks like she's 20, so she is finally growing into her voice. Personally, I think this is better than Gloria's Grammy winning performance, so what does that say about Angelina? I believe next year, her Million Miles will be nominated for the 1st of her many Grammy's in her future, & hopefully she will win it many times.

This is the perfect song for Angelina. The raspiness in her voice, the breathiness, her voice control and even her fry, is making this piece one of her most impressive for me. I do not know who sang this song originally but this is incredible. She sounds like a grown woman with a powerful voice, not a little girl. It's like she was born in another century. I hope REPUBLIC Records have heard her do this type of singing, not just sweet little songs like "Fly Me To The Moon". She needs a variety in her first album for it to succeed.

Young as she is, Angelina adds quality and richness to any song at any genre. It is just sensational. I am always in the great wonder and awe, as the judge Bjarte Hjelmeland was at the NGT in 2014, - he tried to imagine and foresee Angelina`s abilities ten years later, at 18 yo. I don`t think he managed to conclude, other than she should be extraordinary and mindblowing (as she already was at 8). As we get close to those "ten years after" (still 3 to go) I still can`t imagine. All I know, (at least it`s what I hope and pray for) I`ll be around and see for my self. Perhaps I`ll send Bjarte a big smiley massage. To him and all of the world. Thanks for your great reactinons. You are on my not so long list of favorit reactors. To get an even stronger idea of Angelina`s versatility I hope you`ll go for these two rather exstremes, one classis romantic song by Nico Cartosio released in 2019 "A Song For A" kzbin.info/www/bejne/eKCWnpuuhbJgq6M and one modern EDM song released in 2020. "Above The Water" kzbin.info/www/bejne/r2e2mp-to7dlkMU Both videos are fan-made, using recorded soundtrack. Angelina features as original vocalist to both compositions. And BTW, grate chair you`ve got there. Thats a piece for display. I guess you`l keep it clear from the boys!? All the best to you and your boys. Greetings from Norway!

BTW this little curiosity as I saw your reactions on Demis Roussos some time ago, and can you belive it; 7 year old Angelina even did his song "forever and ever" in a rehearsel session. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6G4gKCjr9Ohn6s She has never let herself be stuck in jazz or any other genre. She simply has been taken (or found as she say herself) by music. I will not mind if you want to make an reaction to this as well, even as it is not the greatest song she has taken on, and it is a rehearsel, even possible the first real take she did on it, as the musicicans have to stop halfway trough and ask her for how it went on. :-D

I enjoy your reactions, and just a bit of information, my daughter just purchased a chair on Etsy for her bedroom. It's beautiful as is yours! In addition to her incredibly worldly and emotional voice, you said Angelina seems like a nice person. The qualities that brought me over the top were her compassion, inspiration, and humility. The reason why she performs barefoot and the fact that she is responsible for donations of almost half a million dollars to charities since she won ngt, make me far more connected than if she were just a singer alone. I assume you know the story of the barefoot princess. You have alluded to some unique features that Angelina possesses and I just want to expound upon them. Firstly Angelina has the ability to adjust her tone, style, technique depending upon the artist she is covering, or the original she is singing. That's why she is known as the barefoot princess of 1,000 voices. Secondly, and most importantly, Angelina has the ability to project and elicit emotion as if she has lived the experiences in her song. She is so young, and has not experienced most of the adult events that she sings about. Yet when you listen to her, you think you are listening to an adult who has felt the joy and the pain of love and other adult themes, and she makes you feel those emotions. It is absolutely unheard of.

Great reaction - maybe Angelina chose this song to show that she can do more than jazz and blues - The start of the video looks like she is in the desert, around the time she sang fly me to the moon , filmed in the salt lake, she looks so much at ease there, she can survive anywhere. Certainly we can tick of "disco music" - she of course adds the Angelina touches to really bring this song alive, perhaps even more so than Gloria Gaynor.

Yep! That disconnect between appearance and performance can be a little jarring but it will cease to be a factor as she matures. When I first WATCHED "I'd Rather Go Blind", it was not a fave. When I first truly LISTENED to her version and continued to do so many times, it moved into my top 5. Same problem for me with Wicked Game and the video with lots of cute pictures of young Angelina. The fan made video helps to overcome the disconnect between young Angelina and topic (which does not usually bother me too much). Anyway, I enjoy your reactions and hope you avoid future YT challenges. Btw, the chair looks great!

Hi Miki! I totally agree with all you've said. This video was "presumably" put together by Angelina's grandma's and uploaded to her channel 😊 That's where the pictures come from. In them she's so cute and adorable that it is indeed difficult to put face and voice together! But as you pointed out the most impressive thing is Angelina's innate capability to understand music, timing, phrasing, etc. It's really unique for a singer of any age, in fact. Angelina is a very caring and kind person. She has performed in several charity events, mainly dedicated to raise funds for children causes. About her travels, in an interview she was asked what she liked about them and she said she learnt more from traveling than going to school! hahaha which was very funny at the time but oh, so true. What's very comforting to know is that she has a loving and protective family backing her, specially as she started her public music career so young. BTW, I really liked the chair, very original. Hope your boys don't decide to drawn on it 🤣

Miki - I am glad you acknowledged Angelina’s humility - I just hope she is able to maintain that as both her fame and fortune escalate exponentially in the years to come. I don’t like the term GOAT (greatest of all time) to describe anyone or anything, but I admit Angelina’s performances as a child have tempted me many, many, times. I can’t imagine the world has ever witnessed a young singer with such an intuitive feel for music, and who consistently touches the listeners heart and soul in such an immediate way. I stumbled across Angelina several years ago and remain in awe to this day. As you noted, she is a decent and caring human being, which heightens my appreciation of her even more. This all may seem weird that an old geezer (75 soon) like me is dazzled by a 15-year-old, but that’s just “The Way It Is” (a great old song by Bruce Hornsby most notable for the piano chorus and piano riffs, which are most excellent and were sampled by Tupac). Like your reactions and hope to see more of them for my triumvirate plus 1 of favorites consisting of Angelina, Aurora, Diana Ankudinova, and Daneliya Tuleshova. And to think, I had no idea until a little over two years ago that there was so much awesome young international talent out there. Wow!

You are so right about the difficulty of becoming a major singing star these days. As I look at the number of adolescent girls that have recently hit the market with original work and great covers its mind blowing. It not only defies comprehension the level of confidence it must require for a 12 year old to consistently belt out hit after hit seems inconceivable to a non talent like me. I do wish all the Angelinas, Graces, and Courtneys out there the greatest of success because they really deserve it. Btw, I thoroughly enjoy your reactions and support for these beautiful youngsters. Michal, her voice is incomparable. And, add to that the depth of the whole package she gives you in each song, it's mind boggling! Listening to experts like you tell us exactly what she's doing makes us shake our heads because your explanation seems to be about a singer who is 25, 35, 45 (?) years old! How is this possible? Is it magic? Michal, you know I believe she is someone very special and with that comes all kinds of mystical theories about what is going on. But, I'd like to go down another road for a moment and perhaps define what is actually happening. This young girl has been singing since she was 1 1/2 yrs old! Born to sing? Of course. Absolutely no doubt. BUT, the work she has put in to master her craft is undeniable and her devotion for excellence is driven by her outstanding work ethic. So, what we see and hear is not some young singer who has been blessed with a natural ability to sing beautifully but rather someone who has taken that natural ability and refined it to such a degree which has vaulted her to a level that has already captivated all of us. MIchal, got an idea for you. Wrap up the chair with a plastic cover. This way you can enjoy having it without the fear of a Sharpie attack! When the kids are old enough you can take if off.

Hi Michal, thank you for another of your fantastic reactions with Angelina. I also don't really like this song, even though it's probably Gloria Gaynor's best disco-style song. But where is the problem with Angelina? Really for this fantastic little girl, even at 10 years old, nothing is impossible, she is absolutely sensational in this interpretation, she inserted only some of her fantastic vocal effects and changed the song a bit, in the style of Angelina, without melancholy but with joy and I immediately love the song ... 🤗 ❤️ The chair is beautiful, very romantic, but I don't like the combination of the color of the padding, it distracts from the image and contrasts with the color of the chair and the armrests.

I'm 60 and I have given up on music for a decade or so now due to everything sounds and seems so 'generic' with tons of auto-tune...Recently even Lionel Ritchie said most of the modern day singers sounds about the same..No uniqueness...Anyways, to make the story short, it was Angelina who brought me back to the life of music a few years ago when I first discover her on youtube...I'm forever grateful to Angelina for awakening my love for music again.. Even Quincy Jones said something along the line that Angelina is ahead of Michael Jackson as far as musical development and talent goes, when he first heard her sing for him.. Angelina is truly one of the rarest of the rare talent that only comes along in a generation...

Miki when you spoke of the clever arrangement to the song, you used the word "they' implying someone helped Angelina. I truly believe you did so unintentionally since I am sure by now you know the arrangement was all Angelina. I have to wonder what Angelina is teaching the folks at Stargate productions.

@Reg Dewitt I had not heard of Angelina writing sheet music for her musicians but makes sense she knows how since she got musical training starting at age 4. Every video I have seen with her playing piano shows her without sheet music.

Love your reactions especially to Angelina Jordan. Here are a couple other groups from MIchigan I'd suggest you check out: The Accidentals: Two gals from Traverse City, MI started this group in High School when they were assigned to do a duet in orchestra. They wound up finding they both like blues and other genres too. They do almost exclusively their own compositions, but have added a couple covers. I included a Beatles cover in my list. Until COVID they were doing a couple hundred gigs around the country each year and getting a lot of notice, but they need to be known by more folks. They play so many instruments between them, they do all original music, their style is eclectic, and they are just amazing. I’ve heard them in person many times, but first at a great music festival in the Irish Hills of Michigan called Hollerfest. Hopefully it will be back this year if COVID cooperates. Since I first saw them added a percussionist who is great too. Here are some of their videos to start with: The Silence on the TV show You and Me in Chicago. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWfad2aXbqujsJI Live, with a TV interview. I’d start with this one because it begins with an interview with these two gals about how the group started and just about them on a Chicago TV station, then they perform their song The Silence live. To get an idea who they are you could listen to the interview and stop before they begin to play their song. MICHIGAN AND AGAIN--- kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXPCnayqrZKcaas The Silence (TED talk Detroit) kzbin.info/www/bejne/joCynWiof9ycgpo Eipithaphs kzbin.info/www/bejne/np6mgomKa82ehMU Blessed with the Traverse City Symphony Orchestra kzbin.info/www/bejne/np6mgomKa82ehMU Earthbound (Live) kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6C4fqSabMefebM Across the Universe (Beatles cover) kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYPFemV3r5uFo5Y BREATHE OWL BREATHE Another Michigan group that is so unique, also all originals: Swimming kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5W3nnhnfqd1n6c

Mrs. Towber, you should not excuse or feel bad about stoping to make observations or comments. That is a reason we look to you, knowledgable people, for imput and comments on what these singers are performing. That is probably why you are getting flagged! You are not stopping enough. We are not necessarily LISTENNING to a song by looking you up but, rather, we want your reaction, as experts in this medium. By all means stop as many times as necessary to instruct, comment or react to something worthy of comment from YOUR point of view. If people want to listen to the songs there are direct song videos they can pick. Enjoy your imput and feel free to do so.
