I am glad that you are finding this helpful. When I first stated taking birth control, I was told they worked by tricking your body into thinking that it was already pregnant, so that you would not release an egg and there was nothing to get fertilized. But they are also not 100% effective. After a year of taking them faithfully every day at the same time, I was pregnant anyway. Didn't think I was because of the pill, so I kept taking them. Not till I had to go in for an x-ray and was asked if there was any chance I could be pregnant did I mention it. So they ran a test and that's how I found out. I stopped taking them, met with genetic counselors, but between the hormones causing reproductive system harm to the baby, my anti seizure medications causing birth defects (and also interfering with effectiveness of BC) and the alcohol and other party drugs I was on at conception, I made the heartbreaking decision to terminate. After a mastectomy I learned that prolonged use of birth control (which decreases sex drive) is a big factor in breast cancer. And prolonged use is about 5 years cumulative. Another woman I know did a bunch of research and reported that birth control pills work by making your body have a period every month regardless if the egg was fertilized or not. This is not what I was told. So she decided against it. They really need to make stuff for men to take responsibility our bodies go through enough. I was very regular, every 28 days without BC, but on it, it was all over the place. Every 2 weeks, 3 weeks 4 weeks. Week bleeding, a week off. It was nuts. I prefer how my body felt without them. That is just my experience though. Maybe my body was following the rhythm of the moon and the pills were throwing it off so they were battling. If you have children and nurse them and let them wean naturally, children should be spaced about 4 years apart. And breastfeeding is supposed to give some level of birth control, although I got pregnant again when my first was 2 so even that not guaranteed. Just thought I'd share what I've learned in a lifetime
@misspriss02094 жыл бұрын
@@recoveringsoul755 wow so detailed. Thank you for this. Not everyone knows a damn thing about birth control until they decide to take it and it slowly destroys your body. Speaking from experience here. I have a difficult decision of taking the birth control to not get pregnant because I am chronically ill and could never carry another child. (I have two already before I became ill) Wilst taking this birth control it majorly affects my brain. I have chronic migraine on top of all the other shit I deal with. So on top of having to take hormonal birth control I am absolutely not supposed to be taking it because it causes me life altering pain. Birth control is just aweful on a woman's body. I 100% hate it. I too wish men could take more responsibility when it comes to protecting against pregnancy.

I preferred her channel without all the in--video promotions :(
@markedwards92474 жыл бұрын
@@Petertronic I kind of agree with that. But on the other hand, Emmy is making a job out of this, so I don't deny her the right to make some money out of it. Although how much money is always debatable. That is for Emmy to judge whether too much will get her subs pi$$ed off. Or, in old fashioned terms, a "sell out". For this particular video, I thought the first 2 minutes was excessive.

The strawberry ones sound wonderful, wasabi not so much. Did not know there were so many different kit kats. The dark chocolate sounds great too, but I am a big dark chocolate fan

The sakura flavor part is one of the things I love her the most for. She makes me savour it.

I had a Japanese red bean flavored kit Kat and it was by far the best kitkat I ever had in my life

You always trick my brain into thinking I’m tasting your food because you’re so good at describing the flavors and smells I actually believe that I’m tasting them too ... mind control..... lol 😂 you are amazing

Matcha KitKat is the flavour I did not realize I wanted, until I actually tried it. It's bitter in a good way that harmonizes with the sugars and other tastes. The Sakura one is pretty darned interesting, too -- lovely floral notes, almost like eating a very nice perfume. I wonder whether Hershey has considered making a lavender version of their vaunted chocolate wafer bars -- I would be all over that!

The thing about using shark skin to make wasabi paste made me sad! Just not necessary, surely?? Loved the video, your descriptions are always on point. I tried the sakura/sake ones this year and did not get on with them!! 💕

better than just discarding the skin when the fish are harvested though.

I also like the Pistachio and Grapefruit one from the KitKat Chocolatory shop in Tokyo. There is also the Kyushu Ikinari Dango flavour from Kumamoto. And chestnut ones in the Fall.

Donki is amazing. A great place for anything from a toothpick to a snowblower (Hokkaido/Morioka regions). Shibuya Mega Donki has a homage to the Hachikō statue and is a great place to pick up Kitkats /Give thanks.❤️

2:17 I went to Donkihote and got some Kit-Kat, matcha, raspberry, and sake flavor. Sadly I didn't have time to really explore the store it but I did have the Japan KZbinr Sharla with me to help find things quickly.

The lady with the iron stomach! I know those are just a couple small bites but I'm pretty sure my stomach would hurt so bad after eating all those different flavors! I'm impressed 😊

Nothing like a good ol kit kat review. Japan knows how to do interesting flavors. I'm the type of person that likes to try new flavors, so I'd be in trouble in Japan, where they change menus seasonally.

This really brought me back to the first time I found out about you, Emmy. In those regional Kit-Kat Tastemade videos! What a throwback!
