How can one love someone who cares about you so little to become a junkie or a tweaker? I never understand that. That's not love. That is selfishness. I've known people like that and I'm not disparaging anyone who has been there, but you need to know that it was their choice and their outcome. With freedom comes resposibility, owning what one buys. and some purchases are bad. None of us are responsible for what anyone else does. That is the onus of free will. Sorry that you have been hurt mate. But we all keep plodding up this hill. Otherwise, we roll down a side.

You speak the truth tho we always have a choice. It was my choice to always be high instead of just being, I'm lucky tho that I found that out and changed my life around. My younger brother now is going through the same thing and I keep telling him only he can change and no one can do it for him. & I also tell him that it's always his choice at the end of the day. Everyone has their ups and downs and being stoic is probably the best way to live. Some people figure this out sooner than others. While some will never figure it out.

@@ShaneAlanGower Glad you replied. I know through experience and observation. Nothing I can say to you that you haven't already figured out yourself. I'm glad after watching your vid reaction and your message that you found your rail and are chugging along. Hopefully your brother, with some gentle nudging, will do so as well, You know as well as I, that the "Been There, Done That" t-shirt is seldom appreciated. I don't know your situation, relationship or proximity to him...but I think every little bit counts.

They suffered a miscarriage and thats what made their life to spiral down. Everyone has their limits where they start to look for "help" in one way or another. Mental stress can go so far as it will kill you out of the blue without substance abuse but many dont get that far. I was 26 when i suffered my >first< heart attack out of stress and depression. Didnt smoke, didnt drink but my body gave out. When you're beaten to the ground enough times - you WILL NOT come out of it alive. Only question is that how much you can tolerate?
