"Emotional Dysregulation & Overstimulation" is the fourth and final installment in the series "Women with ADHD in the Workplace," written, illustrated, and narrated by Alex Foty, an MBA student and BMO GATE MBA Student Fellow. This episode addresses the complexities of emotional dysregulation and overstimulation that many women with ADHD face, which can often be misinterpreted as mere sensitivity or lack of resilience in fast-paced environments. It explores how societal expectations can exacerbate these challenges, particularly through the lens of gender-specific emotional expression. By offering insights into the unique ways these issues manifest and providing strategies for support, the video advocates for workplace adjustments that acknowledge and accommodate neurodiversity, ultimately fostering more inclusive professional environments.
