Quick reminder the prowler version of miles was supposed to be spider man because the radioactive spider in prowler miles universe went to the other miles universe which is the main universe it bite that miles so the prowler miles did not get to be spider man so that Version of miles became the prowler so there you go there’s the explanation I hope you find this information helpful 👍🏽

Nothing of what Hobie did was lucky. He planned everything he did, and knew exactly what he was doing. After meeting Miles, he was always on his side and looked after him like an older brother, because he knew the Spider Society was kind of authoritarian, and he knew Miles wasn't gonna rock with that. When he was talking to Miles before meeting Miguel, he was essentially telling him the truth about how he doesn't need them, and he was right. And every time he picked up some seemingly random part around the base while talking to Miles, it was to build his own portal watch, which he gave to Gwen to help Miles "in case it don't work out". And he knew he would eventually quit the Spider Society right when he joined, because the only reason he was there was to look out for Gwen, his "drummer". Hobie always wants what's best for his friends, and will find a way to make sure of that. Best character!

I absolutely loved Spot because he’s the first “scientist turned into a monster during experiment gone wrong” character who actually ACTS like a scientist. He’s constantly experimenting and picking apart the broader applications of his powers over the course of the movie. And unlike every other supervillain (who usually just tolerates having a kryptonite) when he realises he can run out of holes, he quickly brainstorms a way to get rid of the weakness by recreating the accident that transformed him on a much larger scale. He's far from the joke everyone sees him as.

Miguel O'Hara, Dr. Morbius, the original Vulture (Isidoro Scarlotti) and Dr. Otto Octavius also literally were scientists who became their own experiments subjects. Miguel due to an explosion became Spiderman 2099, Scarlotti created wings because he was obsessed with flight (even Adrian Toomes was a scientist), Octavius became Dr. Ock. And Morbius became a vampire trying to cure his blood disease.

Fun fact we saw Donald Glover’s Prowler in Spider-Man Homecoming and he mentioned that he’s got a nephew which means Miles exists in the MCU. Plus what’s really cool is that the directors of Across the Spider-Verse confirmed that Glover’s Prowler is from the MCU.

A few things about Hobie because he really is an unsung hero of this movie. He shipped both Gwen and Miles refering to them as "Gwendy (wendy) and Peter Pan". While at spider society Hobie was stealing components to build one of those multiverse watches to give to Gwen. He originally tells Miles to use his palms, not just the fingers so when Miles is trapped by Miguel you can see him whisper "oi, oi, Peter Pan" while gesturing with his palms. Hobie knows Miguel is wrong and misguided in his quest to save the multiverse so he saw Miles as an opportunity to bring it all down.

Miles didn’t get out of his cage through emotions. He was able to get out using his electric powers and Hobie's advice about using his palms. Miguel doesn’t have electric powers so he can't break the barrier the same way.

Miguel O’Hara (Spider-Man 2099) is not a villain, he’s just one of the more serious iterations of Spider-Man and in this movie he has a job to do and he planned to do that job regardless of who didn’t like it or how it affect Miles. His comic arch is different in the comics but I really like this movie version much better. Even his unmasked look is totally different from the comics. I hope the comics adopt more of the movie version.

A detail my brother pointed out is that in the first movie when Spiderman was spider-sensing with Miles his background was green and purple before turning red and blue. That meant he was always suppose to become The Prowler, but when the spider bit him it changed his destiny.

They also mention in the first one how the collider kingpin is working on could destroy reality. That’s why Miguel’s 2nd universe is destroyed, not because his took the place of the guy who died. It’s a reflection of Miles’ story, Miles took over the Spider-Man life, Miguel took up the civilian life.

9:00 - Princeton in New Jersey is 54 miles from Brooklyn NYC, for the record - the two states are literally next to each other across the Hudson River. Miguel O'Hara is the Spiderman of the year 2099. And in his time all the Avengers including spiderman are gone. He's not like the other Spidermen. Miguel worked for a corrupt company called Alcamax that forced him to do inhumane experiments. He wasn't bite by a radioactive spider he actively spliced his human DNA with Spider DNA in an experiment to recreate the original Spiderman. The experiment made him more spider then the other Spidermen it gave him claws that he uses to climb walls. Fangs that secret paralytic venom and he doesn't have a spider sense but inhanced senses like night vision. Which is why he looks like a "vampire" Miguel became Spiderman to take down Alcamax and expose it's corruption.

This movie was absolutely amazing, especially the visuals! (Although apparently the production was also kind of a troubled one that massively overworked the artists.) The funny thing about the reveal at the end is that I realized during the movie that I was honestly quite attracted to Rio (Miles' mom) which is probably why I very quickly picked up that her eyes were a different color, green instead of brown. It weirded me out but it wasn't until she didn't know who Spiderman was that the realization hit me before the movie spelled it out. Such a cool cliffhanger.

To honest, I am on Miguel's side, like he's trying to bring balance to the multiverse, that's the purpose of why he created the spider society. I know Miles is trying to save his family but what by saving miles father, he risks destroying his entire universe and risk creating something even worse than the spot. And thanks to him and Gwen, they may have turned every spider man against each other, setting the stage for a multiversal civil war between free will and destiny and we have no idea how this could end. "With great power comes great responsibility." And when the stakes are this high, we have to do what is right.

If the multiverse could be destroyed by Miles' circumstances, it would have already done so. As has been noted, the spider came from Earth-42 and was supposed to bite someone else. That didn't happen, Miles' Peter Parker died, Miles became Spider-Man, Peter B. changed his whole future, and the multiverse is still standing a year later.

In the first Spider-Verse movie, we had Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), and Phastos (Bryan Tyree Henry). Now we have Dopinder (Karan Soni), W’Kabi (Daniel Kaluuya), and Moon Knight (Oscar Isaac). @9:53 @10:11 @10:22 lol hahahahahahaha!!!!!! Also, you gotta admit that the one spot that makes up his face turning into a little dot was kinda cute. @ 11:14 @11:25 First, Veb from Quantumania. Now the Spot’s talking about his holes. I rather call them portals. The Lego sequence was put together not by a team of animators but rather by a 14-year-old kid named Preston Mutanga. He has his own KZbin channel called LegoMe_TheOG. Sony heard about his work and reached out to him with this incredible job offer. Preston is gonna go far. Lenny was voiced by Ziggy Marley, one of Bob Marley’s children. When Hobie says he hates the a.m. and the P.M, he’s respectively talking about the morning and the Prime Minister. Pavitr is officially one of the funniest Spider-Heroes ever. He has abundant youthful energy and a great sense of humor. He fights using an Indian martial art called Kalaripayattu. A small animation team from Kerala was tasked to help animate Pavitr's movements. His Spidey mask has design inspirations from Theyyam, a Hindu ritual from Kerala. The head-writers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller invited Karan to the writers’ room to pitch in ideas for Pavitr. They were aiming for his character to be culturally specific. Ben Reilly (Scarlet Spider) sounds super cringe because he was voiced by Andy Samberg. He was funny, but I prefer the Scarlet Spider from Ultimate Spider-Man. @20:38 lol hahahahahahaha!!!!!! @20:42 There’s no confirmation that this is the same Prowler we met back in Spider-Man: Homecoming. For all we know, this might be a What If situation. In other words, he’s from an entirely separate dimension/timeline. Speaking of which, the canon events are absolute points like what we saw with Strange Supreme in What If season 1. The way I understand it, the Spider Society is pretty much a Spidey-themed TVA. A major difference is that they don’t prune dimensions. Rather, they try to save them from collapsing. @24:29 great question. Record producer Metro Boomin’ made a cameo as his own Spidersona when he apologized to the Society for saying there was nowhere to run. Metro (real name Leland Wayne) curated the soundtrack for this film. The deluxe edition has six bonus tracks aside from the main thirteen. That reminds me: Hummingbird, the song heard in the background when Miles is grounded, was co-written, co-produced, and performed by James Blake. He happens to be married to Jameela Jamil, the actress who portrayed She-Hulk’s rival Titania. Peter is a great mentor but also an irresponsible father for bringing Mayday to a steel mill with all kinds of equipment that can easily harm her. Although I did like that he acknowledged that Spider-Heroes are supposed to be funny. Miguel has the best of intentions with preventing the multiverse from collapsing, but I didn’t like that he called Miles a mistake and blamed him for everything that happened. Miles never asked to get bitten by a radioactive spider, but he’s doing his best and making the most of the situation. And it’s fair to say that Gwen had been lying to Miles throughout the whole film. Most of the lies were menial, but her knowing that he wasn’t supposed to be Spider-Man was the final straw. It’s weird but also cool that Earth-42’s version of J. Jonah Jameson and The Daily Bugle would actually support a Spider-Man rather than call him a menace all the time. Going into this, I knew we were gonna be left on a cliffhanger. This movie was originally a two-parter. They ended up renaming the third movie Beyond the Spider-Verse, but the concept remains the same. And finally, Amandla Stenberg (the voice of Margo Kess/Spider-Byte) is gonna be the lead actress in the upcoming Star Wars show The Acolyte.

Everyone misses the sound of George Stacey's voice - he can barely say the Miranda Rights. He keeps his weapon on him and at the ready, but not trained on Gwen. And he won't look at her, because he has an immense amount of shame about the whole situation. He's ashamed that he can't figure out a better thing to do, he's ashamed that his daughter didn't trust him, he's ashamed that he doesn't trust her, that he's not sure he believes her, he's ashamed that he did something, in his mind, to cause her to go down this path in the first place or to lose her trust and confidence in him. He's not sure if he believes that she murdered Peter, but the fact that she's been lying to him for almost two years does not engender a lot of confidence that her saying "I didn't do it" is true. He identifies as Irish-American, so, I guarantee there be Shame in them there hills.

There was so much rage in the theater when that "To be continued" popped up. People were maaaaad lol I think what will happen in the next film is Miles will end up choosing to save his dad, and the twist will be that because of that decision it will destroy Miles' universe (Earth-1610?), with the reveal being that Miles ends up as a live-action character in the MCU (Earth-199999). Though not in his own universe, he won't glitch out because he no longer has a universe to return to.

One of the things I like about Hobbie is that he is right about not having to follow a group of Spider-Mans, led by Miguel who uses the fear at the root of each and every one. They make you feel unprotected for not having a leader to guide you. He knows that he should not be part of a system, that sinks the actions of a democracy of its own leaders into the spider-society.

So, I don't think that Earth 42's Miles is a villain. That spider was shown heading toward someone that looked just like Earth 42 Miles, and we see things that indicate that the world here is run by villains (the Sinister Six Cartel gets mentioned). I think that he's functionally a rebel against the crime syndicates that run his Earth's New York. Also, Hobie is my favorite character. He's a character who tricks us right from the outset to make us think that he's just some hollow doofus, who we're supposed to dislike, but he's actually playing a very deep game all along. Heck, we even see him stealing bits and pieces of tech, "Nah, just 'cause, man," which he then uses to reverse-engineer his own multiverse watch. When he leaves, he even tosses his Spider Society watch so that he's not traceable anymore. And, all along, he's really helping Miles to figure out what to do. That tip about using the whole hand, not just the fingers was priming Miles to get out of the trap they put him in. I really want a Hobie Brown sticker for my car now XD

Miguel tried to be calm about explaining things to Miles. He even opened up about his mistake. It's only when Miles ignored all that and ran off that Miguel decided to unload everything on him. Keep in mind, because Miles is the original anomaly, practically everything Miguel has been doing to keep universes intact spawned from him getting bit by that Spider. Miguel was super reasonable given the circumstances
