I had never put much thought into it, but we’re planning on delivering at the same hospital with the same midwife we did with our first. Praying the hospital is a safe choice still for us and our baby. Being a “PAL” momma (pregnancy after loss), I may have too many worries of things going wrong at home. I still hope to labor naturally and free of all the interventions. *whenever labor comes!* (Almost 3 days past due date!)

Hey mama, Question, with your first two were they home birth? And if so or not, we’re they natural ? Did you find yourself feeling the same calmness with your first two , I’m asking cause I’m having my second in June. First time home birth. And I found myself with my first, not wanting hands on , left alone and miserable , and it was natural in a hospital with midwives and a doula. I want to have a better experience this time around so wondering if I should let my midwives and doula just be more hands on Thanks mama! Beautiful family you have!

@mollywinn52194 жыл бұрын
I'm almost 37 weeks with our third and I've strongly considered a home birth as well but I'm terrified of having something to wrong since we're an hour from the hospital. This virus brings so many unknowns and a lot of anxiety to what should be a joyful time.
@thehaleybarry4 жыл бұрын
Kimberly I am so proud of you. First of all, know I was JUST as nervous. What helped me was listening to birth podcasts and positive birth stories really helped me. Positive birth affirmations around my house were also helpful but the two MOST important things are if you know how to give birth meaning you’ve educated yourself on pain management, breathing, mindset etc and then second is what support team you have. Both are the key to having an empowering home birth. I have a birth course that goes over all of this if that may help you, otherwise you have some time to find resources online to help you turn your fear into confidence. I’m rooting for you, mama. You got this 💗

Due with my 8th baby at the end of September. I have used midwives at an amazing hospital for my last 4 births, and planned birthing there again. However, I'm already stressing out at the thought of my support system not being allowed with me, my baby being taken away for 14 days, and I've heard of many woman having to wear masks during delivery...I'm already a very anxious person, and this situation has escalated my fears of delivery. Thank you for this video, it has helped me so much as we look into doing a home birth ❤️ I'm 19.5 weeks and have only been able to see a midwife 1 time...so I already feel disconnected and just out of the norm with this pregnancy with the midwives I currently see. I'm waiting on a call back from a group of midwives who do home births ❤️

Im due in November and this is my 3rd pregnancy. I had a water birth for my 2nd child and it was amazing!! I have always said to my self for the 3rd child I would love to experience home birth but then a friend of mine kind of put me off by saying apparently it leaves a bad smell which lingers. I live in a 2 bedroom flat in the UK and it isn’t very huge but my bedroom is fairly a decent size. Could you perhaps shed some light in this matter? Does it really leave a bad odour?..
