Seriously, if you don't understand something in this show I'd be happy to explain it to you. Basically, before the system could delete Yui's existence in that world forever, Kirito found a way to hack the program and move Yui's data to a different file in the form of an item. Basically, her memories and existence are in the necklace, which is now an item saved to his Nervegear hardware. It's not an ass pull, it's just all he can do for her. She just can't exist in SAO's world anymore because the program's forbidden her code from existing there. As for any other questions you might have, Kirito was only hacking the program to move her save data to another location. He wasn't resurrecting her. And even if he's hacking into the SAO program to retrieve her data before it was destroyed, he can't do anything else, like accessing the log out button or shut down switch. Kirito may have skills as a hacker, but he's no expert on it. All he can do is move her data to another location. And it's only because she's an AI. If he could do the same thing with humans, or hell, if anyone could do something similar with humans in this series, the threat of death would be gone and this game could be escapable. Also also, if you think this makes Kirito a Mary Sue, think again. This isn't something he'd be able to solve by taking her to the Spring of Rebirth. True, it can revive AI within a certain amount of time, but Yui isn't like the other AI. Plus, she's not disappearing like the others do upon death. Her code is literally being barred from the game world's existence so this is the best plan Kirito can go for. True, he won't be able to be with her again within SAO but it's better than doing nothing and letting her fade away permanently. Also also also, remember how he was launched back? It was like he only had a bit of time before the game's stronger ADMIN prevented him from further tampering with the system. So he could only do so much. I rest my case. If you have anymore questions, I'd be glad to answer them. Oh, and if you happen to run into Mothers Basement, I'd like to hear how he can counter this argument.

I think unknown is lv 120 or 150 big bro, because in game "SAO: Integral Factor" just 1 or 2 player lv 100-110(max) can't win if monster like that, 6 player can win fast

Kirito was not hacking to basically explain what he did (anime really didn't explain) Yui already logged in into her account so what he did was compress her data into a file converted her into an in game item (the tear drop necklace) and saved it into his nervegear memory device, simple coding/computer data handling stuff. Hope this explains it for you guys ^_^

Ik I'm late but have you taken a coding or programming course? He converted an Ai the most advanced programmed code humans ever made into a game code which was built on a brand new hardware in mere seconds even without adminstrator privilages so he technically hacked the game while figuring out and converting a blockchain ai code to a game code which he is also figuring out in real time simultaneously in seconds And if he had admin privileges idk why he didn't just added the log out button.

Yui also have privileged to delete item/mobs (how the reaper boss get deleted instantly). About Kirito being a programmer , makes sense as well since he already aim to persuade that job.

@@SkyMina_ the one thing that doesn't make sense is your comment, converting an ai the most complex type of program ever made into a game item whose code you don't even know doesn't make sense, him doing all this when he is still a teen doesn't make sense, doing all this in seconds doesn't makes sense, if you've the access to game asset files to delete a mob and you can't just add a simple exit command doesn't make sense, not disabling the brain fryer doesn't make sense, if he can add an ai as a game item that can delete mobs what's the point of boss fights, just delete all other players equipment with all bosses and mobs.

@@SillyStuff1508 It was mere seconds and no time to add more stuff to the game. he only had time to save yui. Also he read everything about the games developer (sorry i forgot his name) so he knew a ton of stuff about him and couldve used that info to do this, and the brain fryer is a hardware not a software so a in game thing cant change that. Also i doubt the games developer would let hackers be able to give a exit command since the game originally was this so he would have to have A LOT more than a few seconds to create something like a exit command that didnt exist in the first place, while he was also only able to get yui because that was his skill limit. He also was a computer nerd and played the beta of sao months in advance so he had a ton of info on how the nerve gear worked. So he knew a lot of stuff before this so he was able to at least do this. Also no he didnt hack the game. He was at a admin computer with privileges so thats why he could convert yui into a game item but the firewall or an advanced firewall was able to log him out right after he got yui. So he couldnt really do anything about the log out button and the other things you said because he wouldnt of had enough time, the only thing he could get in that amount of time was the game item.

@@wumbowyatt2300 the game had a exit option in beta version so it was there, and removed later, yuri is an ai program converting her into an in game object is impossible in mere seconds, kirito beta testing the game doesn't have anything to do with him in knowing game code as only the Dev's know it, and they never shared it, software programs can easily control hardware, do you not know hor big Robots and machines work, or even the camera on your phone, Sao is really so trash that it used as many ass pulls as it can to save a character that could have made a decent impact of remained dead, And that's what you need to accept, being a computer need and beta tester doesn't let you data mine a new game build on a completely new hardware and releases just 2-3 months ago without the code being leaked, it takes years to do that, and converting an ai, a block chain program, the most complex programme humans ever created into a completely new software code for a completely new and exclusive hardware, makes no sense whatsoever at all.

Yui is a Top-down AI, which is an AI that already has all the knowledge installed and later learns by itself to become more human. And she is not the only AI in SAO that is somehow evolving beyond the control of a system. In SAO: Progressive, there is a dark elf NPC that achieved something similar. In one of the quests that Kirito and Asuna do, the dark elf NPC that is supposed to die somehow survives, and she has a very individuality and advanced AI system that make both Kirito & Asuna believe that she is real. She also explains the history of the SAO world to Kirito and Asuna, Like the actual lore behind the floating castle and why there is no Magic in SAO.

What always confused me on the Fatal Scythe part is why didn’t they run to the safe zone as well? I mean Thinker managed to do it, so it should be possible especially since both of them are one of the most speedy players.

Yeah in some way they wanted to defeat it but after the first hit they got scared and confused and Yui had to interfere, just bad judgement from Kirito and Asuna, they could escape but went to fight underestimating the boss and that costed Yui.

@@wwoods66 the problem with Thinker is that he went there without any crystal so he got trapped but as long as Yuliel came with Kirito and Asuna they all could've got outta there in safety, but Kirito and Asuna made the decision of trying defeat the boss and that costed them Yui, fictional characters are just as human as you and me so they make bad decisions too.
