Emperor of Paladins - Charlemagne Saber - Complete Analysis!

In this complete analysis we're talking about a fan favorite Charlemagne, the Emperor of Paladins! Charlie as he's otherwise known is an aoe quick saber who will be coming to us with the launch of LB 6.5 Traum. While he's not the most damaging of the aoe sabers he has a nice kit for challenge content and the ability to scale his damage with both super effective and powermod niches. We'll be covering that kit and how it stacks up to the competition, how he works on a mechanical level, how much damage he can dish out, CE options and more!

I did briefly misspeak at the end: Salter only requires bond 10 for her mana loading at np1. Charlie is an interesting unit. He's got good scalability for his damage but is mostly kept in check by his heroic king buffs, making him really want to be used more in challenge content. There's nothing stopping you from using him as a farmer though, he just might not be your best option. How do you guys feel about Charlie and his recent buff on jp? I'm so ready for Charlemange. He's my first servant I'm pulling for not other reason than myself since starting playing the game. I've been building my account for around a year now and I'm finally at the point where I feel like I can afford to start raising a servant that I like but don't need.

I rolled this man on a single roll. He now is overtaking Arjuna as my favorite servant, and it scares me how well made he is. I'd ask for help but I'm being okay in the hole I made myself

My biggest complaint about Charlie is WHY IS HE QUICK?! His animations and his kit all practically scream Arts servant...

I already have Okitan-Summer Saber NP2 (by shear luck) Muramasa, Mordred (NP2 by 2 spooks), and NP4 Artoria due to a few spooks... I can skip for Summer Servants!!!! :-) Great Breakdown as always Khad!

Got Charlie in like 400ish pulls which is alright I have a few units I am bonding from 10 to 11 that will be done long before summer. Then I decided to yolo some pulls on Constantine and got him in 20 pulls I am Like ok I will yolo on James banner and get a Don. Got James in 30 pulls. I am questioning my luck here I don't have the mats to level all these new units. My account is only a few months old I started it after the saint Martha Christmas event was over. I have somehow brute force my way to completing the story, all I have to do besides the free quest is serph and tunguska. Main story done, most the 1.5 worlds are done except for one I am waiting for revives to brute force. I wish sometimes there was a way to show others what my account looks like without having to give them my password or somthing. Like a different website to look at people's accounts or something like that. I would like to know what others think of this young account. Oh before I go the summer unit I am saving for is skadi of course for Charlie and my other quick units.

I was going to roll for him this year but having to go to pity and nearly not getting summer Kama as my last target of last year, having to scrap every SQs and tickets I could to get her guaranteed kinda traumatized me a bit as a f2p. It reminded me that my successes in getting my targets for the last 2 to 3 years before that point were blessings and not to be taken for granted. So I made the choice to skip him and make the 3 new summer SSRs + Arcueid my only targets this year. Planned on rolling np2 for summer Kama but I think I'll refrain since I want at least np2 of summer Ibuki, with np3 being my goal.

I got lucky and got a double okita summon on a multi roll when I was going for np 2 so I have an np3 summer okita. Now I was going for as many Kremhilds as I could on my rolls and I shit you not I got 3 Charlemagne (had not plans to go for him) before I got np 3 kremhild on 210sq so I got 2 np 3 quick aoe sabers and honestly I’m happy.

I’m aiming for np5 so yea 😂I also like his first ascension the most. 2nd is good with the cape but then I’d rather have different animations. So 1>3>2.

Bro, tickets still count towards pity. Also it helps if you use 5-10 ticket batches inbetween your tenrolls. And if you are going till np4-5 Arc, and will have enough for that even w/o tickets, you should keep tickets for other summer servants after Arc.

@@rafresendenrafresenden.1644 Kriemhild is the only S tier and you will get shafted on the split rate-up for her with Roland. Just wait for Morganfest for her re-run with good rates. Spend all your SQ on summer, where literally every banner character is EX-tier, even Ashiya Douman re-run. The only terrible servant is Gareth, but she is only on Lady Avalons banner. ERice is literally Kriemhild for CQ as a consolation price if you get high NP copies (wich you will have since its Ibuki banner). She is extemely competitive against servants against the best 5 star units and even surpsses mos of them. I will save like 2500 SQ, 150+ tickets when those banenrs drop and jsut for fun I will pull for Arcueid. Then I will wait for Tiamat and Draco and hope to quickly pick up atleast NP3 Kriemhild.
