I’m sitting in this instance because I’m using the piano as a music stand. Generally, I stand because it’s so much easier on my bad shoulder (old injuries), which can act up at my 2+ hour performances. It’s also easier IMO to use foot pedals when standing. So you will rarely see me sitting in videos, and never if it’s a “live” performance.
