I think the Typhlosion line should have Fire/Poison typing because Badgers are known to survive dangerous venoms which Alligators are also highly resistant to venom but they don’t have Poison like choking in smokes from a fire, stand to near an explosion can also make you suffer from radiation and poison you to death.

I know this kinda changes Sudowoodo's lore, but its perfect. The Bug Type. Not only does it not overlap with any crucial points of it, it kind of benefits sudowoodo by getting rid of its grass weakness, making it neutral to grass as it collects leaves and uses it in its moveset. This also references a real animal, the stick bug, which makes it even better as they both camouflage. Sudowoodo already would like the stab for moves like Megahorn, and it even has antennae. Bug is the best choice.

I will say this type combo was more convincing for the Sunkern line but plenty of generations repeat dual types. (Cough gen 1 grass poison)

I do think quite a few of the types given do make sense but some of the reasoning doesn't. Example being the Mareep line not getting the fairy type because they don't have any fairy moves, but then you stated that Misdreavus should be flying, which makes sense, but you said they you can just "change its ability to get rid of levitate." By that logic you could make the Mareep line fairy and just "give it fairy moves." I did enjoy the video and a lot of your type picks made sense and I learnt some cool stuff to, like Stantlers antlers have psychic abilities.

Fairies are chaotic neutral nature spirit tricksters in most mythology. Some are more kind and some are very cruel but in the main mythos for fairies they are otherworldly yet natural; elemental of nature, who tend to be oddly hard for humans to understand and in general chaotic neutral tricksters. If you want to focus on the 'good' fairies they are defiantly 'chaotic good'. But yes they tend towards being cute and beautiful. Still many are more ugly goblins/trolls, etc. Really Fey/fairy run the gamut but tend to be on the free/chaotic side. I however do agree with the dual fairy types you picked here. You see how Aipom actually 100% fits the fairy mythos for example. Very fun video series. I look forward to more, thanks!

I’d be interested in seeing you handle triple typed Pokémon. After this series my suggestion would be to go back to the original duel typed Pokémon (not the ones with newly added types) and give them a third type. As usual, what I think of each change: * Zero Stars: I agree completely. I think Tyrogue could also make a good Normal/Fighting type (after all, it is still a novice) and Unown should actually be bumped to two stars. * One Star: I only have one minor problem: - Pineco would become 4X weak to Fire so nobody would use it. * Two Stars: Here I have some problems: - You are overshadowing the Cyndaquil line. Both Fairy and Dragon types are very strong so nearly nobody would chose Cyndaquil over those two. Either change Meganium and Feraligatr's types or give Typhlosion a better type like Poison or Steel. - Bellossom is now 4X weak to Vileplume's type. This is a problem because nearly nobody would chose Bellossom over Vileplume now. * Three Stars: Blissey being broken competitively if it gets the Fairy type is a big problem. Not only would this cause that nearly all teams online would have it in their teams (unless it gets banned to UBERS), but it would also make the Main Game way too easy.

@@swampy725 Here is the difference with those they already have secondary types that fit them well and also anytime I can I always have my Typhlosion learn Thunder Punch and Fire Punch it’s just second nature to me

I think Dragon is fine for a starter, by simply evolving. We already have Primarina, a fairy, so a dragon starter should exist as well.

we've had fairy and steel type starters already, which are arguably even better (especially with the latter in gen 4)

@@Lumix_Corrupt Empoleon was still weak to Ground and Fighting, you know like the other two Starters from Gen 4. Alola had a of hard hitting Grass Types mainly Bulu,Kartana and (HA) Lurantis. Fairy isn't great that great with Grass/Fairy or Water/Fairy.

8:55 right my true form has ground Typ also I can fly with my wings when im in a tricky situations. In my true form I can also make deadly earthquakes but arceus tells me when I do that to much often the earth will split at half

Dark instead of Dragon for the Totodile line. Feraligatr can learn only two offensives Dragon move in addition of DD, then it need more a STAB for its Crunch than only two Dragon move. It's a crocodile and it have a powerful jaw so...

Yep. I’ve always seen Feraligatr as the edgy/scary one of the Johto starters, so Dark would make the most sense.
