This isn’t even funny anymore, it’s just reality, even the tone of the music show us that we are not having fun anymore. Edit: I feel like a lot of people are treating this comment too harshly. From my experience, I had a lot of time playing the game and over the course time of playing it felt I was walking in cycles doing the same over and over again. But maybe thats not the case for everyone, some people are still enjoying the game and still wanna keep playing. There are going to be times where the community is going to get bored, happy, or stressed with the fact that we’re going nowhere. That’s what we call the Five Stages of Grief, and we we’re supposed to have ended in the last stage, we’re still in hope of a brighter future for game, but the problem is that we have still no proofs that things might change, and it’s up to Valve what they are going to do with the game.

I dont know if im just astronomically lucky but in the casual matches ive played in the last week rarely had any bots in them, and when there were any they'd get kicked in less than 20 seconds. Casual is still really fun, please dont go into an existential crisis because of a few bots, we musnt lose hope, we must never let bots affect our feelings towards such a great game.

Hello Everyone. Dante here with the TF2 news. Valve banned the DoesHotter bots (Yes, all of them and the bot hoster) off of steam and their working on banning all of the Bot Hosters. Does this mean Valve cares for TF2 once more? Hopefully. We'll see big updates soon enough. EDIT: Update on the situation. Valve recently patched the snack attack exploit from being able to block movement of other entities. Do these updates and bug fixes mean Valve is working on TF2's core gameplay and improving it? We can all just pray for now.

Stay off casual during the off hours when most of the world is asleep or in school, and always be ready to leave a game if you see a bot vote kicking you otherwise the game will crash and you gotta close it with task manager. If you don't want to play tf2 anymore and don't find it fun at all then don't force yourself, play what you enjoy what you find fun not cus you feel you have to. I will be staying with tf2 and if you ever do join back in know I will be one of the ones you could run into still playing. Also to anyone who could care, know I stay on dead servers with or without bots and will stay on lobbies waiting for bots or players to join, and even if the lobby is full of bots 8 times out of 10 I will stay on just to keep the bots on the server away from active games. I do this cus the bots more then normal travel in groups so if one joins other will follow so if they are on my game they tend to stay for a good while.

I only just recently got into TF2 and it’s a shame to see that I pretty much missed it at it’s prime. It sucks too, because I knew about TF2 ever since like, 2014 but never tried it until a few months ago because I only just recently decided to get Steam. I love it too. It’s by far the game I have the most hours on by like 200 hours, but it’s sad to see that I could be loving it a lot more if Valve didn’t overvalue virtual reality so much.
