That first one of "South America" looks like someone started with a map of South America and overlayed an outline of Africa over it. It's the kind of mistake that you'd almost purposely have to do.

Its ww1 map shows serbia annexed montenegro, austria hungary's borders with its neighbours looks weird, the ottomans doesnt own the levant except for syria, the french belgian border is not shown making it look like france owns all of belgium and the netherlands owning wilhelmshaven

As a someone who's father is a professional cartographer I became used to looking into state-of-the-art maps and I must admit my dear Emperor Tigerstar.......the maps that I saw in this video made me lose 99% of my brain cells!

freemanpedia makes more sense the more you understand it's for AP classes where you have to know so many things at once that having a cluttered map is ultimately easier to remember than just the words in a textbook alone

1:28 has sloppy borders and shows French puppet states being a part of France, 1:32 has a wrong German-Russian border and a wrong south Austro-Hungarian border.

It also completely forgets the Peninsular War. France never had control of the entire Iberian peninsula. Even at the beginning of the war Portugal was mostly intact and by 1814 the UK-Spain-Portugal alliance under Lord Wellington had kicked France out of Spain in its entirety. So... this map forgets an important part of the war.
