I was just at Canjam Chicago and the representative there told me they are slowly discontinuing the Wraith. They didn’t bring a sample to try either. And also I fully agree on the Odin and ESR. Odin was an unreal experience and the ESR was such a nice set.

You should try the FitEar line of IEM while you are in Japan, I have the FitEar MH334 SR and imo its one of the top few iems around :)

I own both Mest MK1 and MK2 and I would say the Odin is half step above those two. Not a significant leap but still better.

What source did you play them from? Odin is quite picky and may come across bass light together with too much energy in the upper midrange

Do you prefer Odin over your favourite Anole VX which is all BA? I auditioned both Odin and 64Audio U18S and ended with U18S as it seems to have more instrument separation to my ears but Odin not far behind.

Odin is not worth it value wise since half the cost is in the cable, and it's only "one of" the best IEMs he's heard and the others are much cheaper. I would buy the Odin if they didn't force me to pay for the cable. I'm sure someone can mix and match a $100-$200 cable until the sound sounds like the Odin stock cable. But even with the Odin stock cable, he still just thinks it's one of the best. What would happen if you buy an expensive cable for the other IEMs then (if cable does matter that much). And if not, then Empire Ears forcing me to buy that cable is just dirty.

@@Gizaudio ok, seems that they’re either suffering from severe bass bleed or they’re just ok ( not really worth the money ) except for the first one ..with an endgame price tag. I’m currently floored by the s12’s as the current top dog in my IEM’s stable…a phenomenal product at a unicorn price …but where to go from there ..Variations? Hope you’re having a blast in Japan and stay safe.

Yeah, it's what called a "Boutique" brand, they usually charge very high price for their products. Fir, 64 Audio, Empire Ears, Campfire Audio etc. are some examples. They are not bad IEMs, just expensive usually
