Metal (and wood) were immune to poison in Warhammer 7th Edition. In Warhammer The Old Wolrd everything suffers from poisoned attacks.

I think you will find my expert gobbos archers hit the slit in the steam tank, wounding and poisoning the empire engineer 10 times, they practice by shooting apples of each others heads, hence why there are only 60 and not 90 left.

2:15:24 doom divers can’t target a wizard, but if they target another unit, scatter and come out close enough the D3 can get them to hit them (it’s not targeting). The FAQ you’re thinking about is cannon specific.

1:17:25 btw BSB does not let you reroll restraint tests, only panic, rally or break. Veteran state troops do get to reroll any failed leadership test which is why they're worth considering. Undead bsb does let you reroll any leadership test which is a bit nuts.

Why is the Glowy Green Amulet so OP? Should be Roll1, explode, then for every canceled spell it goes up by 1 to explode....okkkk so you can ONLY use the amulet if your UNIT or model is the target of an enemy spell.

Helblaster functions like all other balistic skill shooting in regards to modifiers. IE long range and shooting at skirms 32.55 3s go to 5s, just a heads up.

Skirmish minus only counts against models with a unit strength 1, the hoppers are unit strength 2 light cav and so don't get the minus benefit when being shot at.

2:02:10 Those remaining two boar riders fled in the wrong direction. Apparently, you always flee with the center of your unit directly away from the center of the enemy unit. So they would have scurried of at an angle. Which would probably have given them one or two extra opportunities to Rally. Which would have made a big difference points wise.

My warboss always manages to mess up an attack, or in this case a flee, your spot on, but wouldn't have made a huge difference, he shamed mork and gork once more, hence only loons of savages and gobbos will join his waaaggghhh.

Have you considered putting your chaarcters in the infantry blocks on demigrpyhs? Quite flavourful to have officers on mounts, and a very strong option.

Btw it looks like the Squig riders that charged the nights moved like skirmishers (would otherwise have had to wheel and would been blocked from charging the cab by the building?) despite having a monstrous cav character joined to the unit which would make them take open order?

I was quite surprised to see you choose not to bring plague of rust. However I’m super biased because that spell made my state troop spearmen with general and captain win combat against black orcs with a boss 3 times in a row before they broke and we ran the curs down. Man that was a rewarding moment

To be fair the orc army he is facing doesn't have a whole lot of armour to be worth rusting. Brilliant results against the black orcs though!

Hammer of Sigmar gives re-rolls f 1 to wound as well as 1s to hit so your General with the Duellists Blades could have re-rolled the 1 to wound you picked up too.

I don't think you are using cannons correctly like at 56:00 for example you seem to be considering the first dice roll the bounce and hitting models underneath it, but it's not it just marks the initial impact. The bounce is the 2nd roll, where you roll the misfire which means it doesn't move. You say you are getting 4 goblins and 2 boarboys somehow when really the cannon ball would just hit 1 goblin and stop.

That's right as raw, however seems a tad strange it wouldn't protect against a fanatic in "fantasy reality" given the strength of fanatics I would happily play it that they do get affected in a friendly game like this, the thought of a wizard protecting his guys from a crazed loon who magles himself on some stakes magically rising from the ground just seems very fanatic like.

Cannons RAW hit models not units with a limit of 1 per rank. So characters in units hit by cannon fire do have to make "look out sir" tests or be struck.

Have you not done the poison wrong. You can’t get volley fire when you’ve moved. And after the first rank it’s half a rank that can shoot.

Sadly, no charges are allowed with the random movement + arcane urgency combo. Random movement only allows to go into combat in the compulsory moves sub-phase, which is before arcane urgency is cast. Otherwise would be utterly broken.

I'm new to old world, genuinely curious to how the goblins got 56 shots in the first turn? I know some of the models were out of range, but doesn't volleyfire mean that only half the models from each rank can fire? Apart from the first rank. Thanks😊

It's the large target rule that allows models to see over each other so I get to shoot anything in arc and range.

Concerning your future knight project… Knights with great weapons are trash. Lances and shields all the way, especially for cavalry with native counter charge. On another topic, I can’t wait to see your Orcs and Gobbos army in action. I’m hoping to see at least one big block of Black Orcs!

The earthen ramparts spell on the spearman meant no charge bonus so I was only initiative 3, the men had spears so +1 int when charged so they got to go first.

Yep correct, that's why I should have cast itchy nuisance to lower toughness, was a first outing for my poison blob so learned a lot.
