Well you’re obviously misinformed. Anyone with domestic violence, known drug addictions, or a felony record cannot legally purchase guns in this country and there is a mandatory background check you have to go through. Most of the time these things occur when it is a stolen firearm due to morons not properly stowing their guns. That’s the real issue is a lack of education. The more people know how to properly keep and store firearms the better society would be because it is a violent world and it’s inevitable that weapons will be used. Better be able to defend yourself or your family then be a victim.

smh incredibly frightening. This is unacceptable. The mall is a place where parents take their young kids. Hopefully, law enforcement can capture the suspect or suspects. Hopefully, everyone can go home physically safe. This particular mall is actually a nice Mall. I have been there plenty of times. Thank God for police officers.

Not really. There are some "No weapons allowed" signs, but there's no real legal weight behind them. Basically, if mall security sees you have a firearm, they can ask you to leave and trespass you. Unless you refuse to leave, it's not a criminal act.
