Are the current employees who used 2019 form grandfathered in? Or must current employees complete new form?

Employees who properly completed the 2019 version prior to November 01, 2023 do not have to complete a new Form I-9 (this is also true for any reverifications completed on the 2019 verison prior to November 1st). If however the employee will need to be reverified (if applicable) at some point in the future, you will have to complete the new reverification on Supplement B of the new Form I-9 and attach it to the original Form I-9.
