"Εμπρός η ΕΟΚΑ κράζει - Ο ύμνος της ΕΟΚΑ" - Greek Cypriot Patriotic Song (Go forth, EOKA calls)

One of the many songs/anthems created for the EOKA (National Organization of Cypriot Fighters) organization, a Greek Nationalist freedom fighter group that wanted to break free from English rule and unite with Greece.

The EOKA struggle failed to unite Cyprus with Greece, as the Zurich-London agreements stipulated that Cyprus would be an independent country. Cyprus is currently the last country in the world with a divided capital, following the turkish invasion and subsequent 50-year occupation of the north side of the island, citing "protection of the Turkish Cypriot minority".
