AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson the lead singer was 63, Angus Young the lead guitarist was 55 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! Ive seen football stadiums with up to 90,000 in them, and thats not on the pitch to ofc, 73 seems lowballing it. But,if thats the official tally who am i to argue

@@LearningDrummerSam Do understand that RiverPlate stadium seating is only 72,054 and understand that the back 1/3 of the stadium seating and “floor seating” was empty because it was behind and under the stage and/no sight lines to the stage from the side deck seats. I love how ppl want the crowd to be 1 million plus but it’s just not physically possible!!!!! Plus I don’t dispute what the band who perform the 3 shows in 3 nights says about how many tickets THEY sold. I mean why lie!!!!! Call me crazy. Just saying!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!!!😎🍸

AC/DC has been around since the '70s. I have seen them twice in concert & they are phenomenal! Angus Young, the guitarist, ends up without a shirt at every concert because he gets so hot! He runs nonstop the entire 2+ hours of each show & it was reported he lost an average of 3-4 pounds after each show because of how much he ran & sweated! The are rock & roll legends!

The performance is all the greater as Brian Johnson is 62 years old and Angus Young 54 years old at the time of the concert at River Plates... They are incredible. Deep respect for the whole group

The song is about a dangerous stretch of highway in Australia, where the band is from. The Canning Highway is nicknamed the "highway to hell" due to a high number of crash fatalities.

Well I was wondering what you’d make of this, but it turns out Empress is a real rock chick. You really got it. Good honest simple rock music, but you got it. The dissonance on your face as you realised the superficial meaning of the lyric but couldn’t help but join in singing was genuinely funny, good girl 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾 An old work friend once told me of the true story of his hastily rearranged wedding to a local girl in the Ukraine. Due to the last minute nature of the arrangements a taxi was booked to drive them to the local function room to undertake the ceremony instead of the more conventional limousine. As they rode in the taxi ‘highway to hell’ was coincidentally playing on the taxi drivers stereo, a fact that didnt go unobserved at the time...... they’re still married, the last time I heard though!

when I was a kid and heard the song, it was kind of scary because of them sings about hell. after i got older i realized they were making a song about they were sinners like we all are.

The reason Angus (guitar) wears shorts and a school boy outfit is because he was a school boy when the band started in the early 70's so it was their gimmick and he's kept. AC/DC still fill every venue they ever do and could probably sell out 10x more. The singer in this video is the groups second singer Brian Johnson as the first singer Bon Scott died suddenly but told the band if anything ever happened to him that he wanted Brian to replace him.

Hi Empress Joy, this was from Live at River Plate, Argentina in 2009!! 😀 😀 AC/DC were formed in Sydney, Australia in 1973, by Scottish born brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, they are still rockin today in 2021, they have a new album out called PWR /UP,, and a new music video out called Through the Mists of Time, check that one out!! 😀 😀 AC/DC are : Brian Johnson, 74, on vocals Cliff Williams, 71, on bass guitar Stevie Young, 64, on rythmn guitar Phil Rudd, 67, on the drums Angus Young, 66, on lead guitar Original rythmn guitarist Malcolm Young sadly passed away on November 18th 2017 at the age of 64, due to dementia 🙏🙏 The current rythmn guitarist, Stevie Young is the nephew of the late Malcolm Young and Angus Young!! 😀 😀 RIP Malcolm Young, 1953 - 2017 🙏 🙏 Big Hi from Scotland!! 😀 😀

He normally is wearing an entire uniform, that is the what he wore in school as a kid, he decided to wear it one time and the fans and his bandmates talked him into continue to wear it and people loved it so it has been a part of his images since the 1970s, usually he wears a shirt too but when he gets very hot he will do that without the shirt,

I honestly can't think of a song of theirs you would consider a ballet or a slow song....its just not AC/DC if its not turned up to 11 out of 10.....and those stages get pretty hot so Angus gave up on shirt wearing years ago....and in fairness a shirt can interfere with what he does on a guitar....but no don't AC/DC has one ballet song in their history...somebody might prove me wrong though I can't think of one

No disrespect to Brian Johnson...but Bon Scott was much better for this song. Please give a listen to an older version with the original singer. This my all time favorite tune of this band...parts of it are simply about freedom, it's awesome.
