Hi Nadine, My favourite cleansers are:- 1. La Roche Posay toleriane cleansing milk for morning; 2. La Roche Posay toleriane milk with Clinique take the day off mixed together for makeup removal; 3. Balance Me cleansing balm for my second cleanse and every other day I will use Skin Food black sugar scrub on top to make skin soft and smooth. Shelley x

I am a dermalogica therapist and yes you are right about the daily microfoliant. It is amazing. :) We do use it around the eye area in the treatment bur make sure there are not bits so is well dissolved and can stay in for 5min to brighten the area. Follow with eye cream. xx

I used Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish although not with her muslin cloths but a white flannel which seems more efficient. Can't be bothered with double cleansing but find Liz Earle's Superskin Toner probably does the job!

I love the sound of that dermalogica cleanser 😍 I remove makeup with a micellular water followed by La Roche Posay Effaclar face wash as it contains 2% salicylic acid, morning and night my skin is so bright and clear since I've started using it!

The Mad Hippie cleanser is fabulous with great ingredients for mature skin. And for drier skin, CeraVe Hydrating cleanser.

I too love the Emma Hardie balm cleanser, and Clinique Take the Day off balm cleanser. Oskia Renaissance gel is my morning cleanser. I have about ten cleansers I rotate through depending on the weather and my skin at the moment. They are my weakness.

Hi Nadine! I first remove eye makeup with a dual phase eye makeup remover, then I use micellsr water all over the face and eyes ,followed by a cleansing milk or balm/oil in the winter! I love the Tatcha rice granules for extremely gentle exfoliation in the am before makeup. Makes foundation go on smoothly, especially if I use an acid or retinol the night before! I'm 57 and everyone says my skin looks amazing 😉. Love your channel! Xoxo 😘 Deborah

Thanks for the video 😊 I always double cleanse, because I always wear spf (30 or 50 because of Tretinoin) and I do it like this: 1) remove all eye makeup with Bioderma, 2) Eve Lom cleanser in the white can and 3) a cream cleanser, it can be from Balance Me or Shiseido.

I use a micellar water if I need to remove makeup. I've tried tons of them but the garnier with the blue cap (waterproof version) is the best I've ever used. Then i use the Paula's Choice clear pore normalizing cleanser on my face brush. It's the best combo I've found for my combo skin. Sometimes, if my skin is looking dull, I will use the soap and glory VitC clarifying cleanser and it brightens my skin so much.

hi, nadine! it's always a pleasure to watch your videos. today i finally got my undereye fillers done, just a small amount of HA to see how it will go, and i'm very happy. talking with the dermatologist about a good face cream, she told me that there is no 'wonder' cream to reverse aging. but good skincare and right cleansers are very important. thank you very much for your help.

Loved this video, thank you. I have the EL cleanser and find it foams a lot if I rub my (freshly washed) hands together with it and then put on my face. If i apply directly on damp skin it doesn't. Love the scent, reminiscent of retired EL icon product FRUITION of years ago.

I used to spend a lot of money for dept store skincare. But, CeraVe hydrating cleanser is amazing. It cleanses, hydrates and restores the protective skin barrier. Here in the US it's only $12, their AM and PM moisturizer are wonderful as well. No more wasting money for me! 😊🌺
@lizcademy48097 жыл бұрын
CeraVe is awesome! The hydrating cleanser gets off my (minimal) makeup and leaves my skin soft. If you're in the USA near a Bed, Bath and Beyond it's under $10 if you use a 20% off coupon (I'm drowning in their coupons, and they never expire).

Love your videos so much. Love my take the day off balm by Clinque. I will wash my face but also do a little facial massage with it in the am because it glides so well. I find myself going back to this so often. I am using some of the ordinary products right now and a great Vit C with ferulic acid from timeless beauty. Really has brighted my skin. But I really do love the take the day off balm as an all rounder.

Nadine and ladies should all check out Cristina Radu Skincare and go into her press tab. I love her approach to skincare. I emailed her and said she would do a consultation. So I rang her Beverly Hills salon. Her clients include Jennifer Aniston, Cindy Crawford, Rosamund Pike, Tilda Swindon etc. I don't care that she has a celebrity client list. What she told me no Facialist has ever told me before. You have to take care of your skin. Shelley x

Just finished a Cleanse & Polish, I've not used Dermalogica in years, I totally forgot how much I used to love it! That's definitely my next purchase, thanks for reminding me Nadine! Also, I was thinking of buying a Clarasonic Mia for a deeper cleanse and exfoliation, can you comment on whether you would recommend them Nadine? I'm nearly 50 and thought it would be good to try one. Love your makeup and nails today, can you tell me what products/shades you used? Love watching your videos x

Please could you do a video explaining the difference between cleansers and toners. I always understood cleansers to be a face wash and toners to be applied with a cotton pad after washing the face, but the introduction of micellar water and other watery substances for which the term cleanser is used interchangeably I’m now really confused about the function of each.

I have just finished my first bottle of the Daily Microfoliant and want to repurchase but don't know if I should try the Superfoliant, have you tried it? Otherwise I am a new convert to the Emma Hardy Moringa Balm, I bought a travel sized pot from M&S as I was loathed to buy the full size without knowing if I'd get on with it and, for summer at least, it has been a revelation. I had been on oxytetracycline for 2 years and since stopping my skin is actually the best its been since I first started taking them - to which I really credit this cleanser (and a cheap Simple zinc moisturiser).
@ruthm38137 жыл бұрын
I received a small size of the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant in a Liberty Advent Calendar(I think), I know I didn't buy it. I didn't realise it was a cleanser. I just presumed it was an exfoliator which you used maybe a couple of times a week or less often. Now I will give it a go daily for a while and see how it goes. Also the Rodial one looks interesting. Ah, should have realised from what you said earlier that you have oilier skin, I am sensitive and dry. I guess I need to look for something else. Thank you though.

I find it interesting that most of these cleansers state to avoid the eye area yet you use them to remove your eye make-up ( with the exception of the Dermalogical product). Do you find that there is no eye irritation? Just curious. Thanks for reintroducing Dermalogical. I used to use a number of their products but switch around all of the time. Looks like it's time to try them again. Thanks!

Love your videos Nadine! I'm early 40s with slightly oily skin but not many breakouts. Recently started to use scrubs more regularly and vitamin C at night and my skin seems even more oily with some tiny blackheads showing, weren't before! What's best, glycolic or salicylic? Plus when do I use my retinoids?? So many things I want to try but not sure in which order etc.

Love listening to you, Nadine. I'm playing catch-up. I'm using Cerave hydrating/moisturizing cleanser for all the good ingredients. However, I need something now to clear up the peeling. It is driving me crazy & can't pin-point what's causing the peels. I had perfect skin not long ago but bad doctoring caused many problems. So now, I am trying to get my skin better. I know someone who uses the Glycolic Body Merry daily. I have lactic acid 5%, I use a bit. I can't stop at times from peeling my own skin & I'm afraid it will be worse. What can I do? I am now living in a very dry climate (I HATE), also. Thank you.

Hello! I got here thanks to Emma Guns and her fabulous podcast and I've been obsessively watching your videos for the past two days! I've decided to change all my skincare to clinical skincare and skinceuticals. I just started swapping out my skincare and I'm so excited to see the results! I just had 1 question! I'm 29 and have acne-prone combo skin with melasma due to long-term birth control and some pigmentation. I'm going back to my country and Latin America and after watching your vlog on Vitamin A, I'm seriousy considering getting my hands on some Retin-A. So, should I? Is it overkill? I've used the Ordinary retinol and Peter Thomas Roth, so am I too 'young' to go in with the big guns? Anyone's input would be appreciated! Thanks!
