The house looks so lovely. You don't need a larger house where you will be cleaning more and accumulating unnecessary items. This one looks perfect. Home blessings to you.

Did I miss the living room? Check the local (if any) Antique Malls. My son & I have booths in 5 Antique malls in NC. You might find items that you like. Most have furniture, tables/chairs, candles, plant stands, great stuff and one of a kind items. So glad the fur babies are doing good. And so delighted you are loving our South! Love your videos and looking forward to more. Show us your back yard too.

Kimberly, I call my bathroom, my "sanctuary". I can relax in my tub, light my candles, put in my Dr Teals Lavendar and Melatonin bath salts with some olive oil and sweet almond oil and veg with my calm/relaxing music playing. I wouldn't trade my nightly sanctuary ritual for anything. Everyone around me, including my furbabies, know, that is "Mom Time" and "Do NOT Disturb". Lol😉 Your new home is just precious ❤️. I can't wait to see what you do with your new space. I may get some ideas from you. I've been an empty nester for 3 years and looking to converting my youngest daughter's room into my "Havenly Hideaway". This will also be my meditation/self reflection room. You've had quite the journey. I hope all goes well furnishing your new place. Keep us updated. Love ya, KIMBER (Your Austin, Texas Sister in Beauty)🤗😘🥰👄💞👄

Kimberly I know you will turn this house into a home for you & your fur babies. I have two ideas for the issue with the breaker box in your bedroom. Idea # 1: place a free standing mirror over it, idea # 2: if your going to use a curtain rod above the window as close to the ceiling as possible to make the ceilings appear taller since the room isn't the largest bedroom, but that's ok because it's just for sleeping anyway I digress, just extend one of those half curtain rods above the breaker box & add just one panel & it will appear that you have another window. I hope that makes sense. It was so good seeing you, TFS your journey with us. Lucy looks so happy, wagging her tail & Dex is loving his windows. 🌻🌹🌷

BTW, today I saw Jo Good aka MiddleAged Minx mentioned that one of her Subscribers told her about you Kimberly ( that was me) and now she loves you too. Don’t know if you will read this suggestion but your fuse box problem is easily remedied by painting the fuse box the same color as your wall and using a tall faux plant or real if you like in that corner. Also a really good idea for giving yourself more towel storage inside the bathroom and is a beautiful way to decorate would be to find a towel rack that tiers downwards with small to large rolled towel that fit into the arms of the metal that reaches out to hold the towels. Wish I had a picture but I’ve bought these racks for tight places in bathrooms and it solves the decorating and function issues. Hope you can figure out what I’m talking about. Good luck, looks like a great adventure!!!

Hi there, As for the electric panel in your master bedroom, might I suggest you order a smaller kitchen pantry cabinet. You could put your folded clothing in the pantry since the closet is so small. Put some small wheels on the bottom of the pantry, that way if you need to access the electrical panel you can easily roll the pantry out of the way. 😊 Food for thought. Have a great day and best wishes for happiness in your new home!
@cathyhunter12632 жыл бұрын
Thats a good idea tall and narrow with wheels for folded tshirts,jeans,baskets to hold items and you can always paint it or wallpaper the front doors,theres stunning patterns out there.
@unfilteredover50722 жыл бұрын
Please have the front door lock box removed. Safety. If you creatively arrange art over the entire wall, you can easily cover that breaker box. In the bathroom, you could add more storage with an over the toilet shelf (I found cabinet style units online that match the cabinetry). Lastly, check out the $5 section at the entrance of Target stores for clever bathroom and makeup organizers. I just scored clear, solid lucite drawers that are stackable and customizable. All the best in you adorable new home. Good for you!

Good morning Kimberly! How cute is your new home! The kitchen is darling! A pretty mirror over the sink would give a lot of reflection since the sink is against the wall. I agree keeping things decor light and airy is the thing to do. Since the walls are gray, maybe using more silver/pewter/white accessories rather than too much black would help keep it from getting dark. Just a few thoughts! Looking forward to seeing your style come into this house! Have fun shopping! 💕

What this reminds me of us my friends who gone to hurricanes and lost their houses and they’re basically starting over which is what you’re doing. That house is cute. You only need so much room. Good luck finding furniture and a washer dryer. When I moved a few years ago it took me a while to find a washer and dryer in stock. That was before Covid. I went to a rental place and just rented it for a little while. Then paid it off later. That’s a route you might look into if you can’t find one. Maybe it’s just where I live, I don’t know. But my husband was doing laundry, and he never dries clothes all the way. So I had to hang clothes all over, with no furniture at the time. We lived like pioneers when we moved to our house for a few months. No water, no power. It was something. We had hair washing day, where we hung our heads out the back door to rinse them. It took us a month to get power. I called five times a day. One guy came out, tore up our driveway, which is really steep and was gravel at the time. He said he didn’t have enough line. He left. Finally I got a hold of a supervisor at the company. And someone was here within a few hours. They weren’t too happy, it was pouring rain and our front yard is filled with all the trees they knocked down to get our house in. And he had to keep walking up and down our driveway. But it was wonderful. It was July in Georgia with no air. We were so happy to have water and air after that. So when our power goes out it doesn’t really bother me. My daughter lives in a different city in a plat. And their power goes out more than ours, and we live in the country, on the side of a mountain. I love Lucy, she is so cute. And you cat in the window. That’s the new spot for him or her.
